I'm on a Mac, so I use Keynote for slides & most animations; GarageBand for recording; Amadeus or Audacity for editing the audio; then Screenflow (great app) to capture the slides & sync up the audio. It's a little more involved than if I just used Screenflow to record audio while going through the slides, but this approach gives more flexibility for adjusting timing and editing mistakes.

the sentence "Я в течение 3-х лет возила детей в Англию" makes no sense in russian. It means that the action happened an infinite amount of times and it's quite possible even every day for 3 years, which is utter nonsense because the destination (England) literally implies that the action started somewhere beyond England. When you want to say that children have stayed there for 3 years, you should say ''Я отвезлА / возИла детей на 3 года в Англию'' and there is no way around.

Yes, of course we use на (with accusative) to express the time following an action: Я приехал в Россию на неделю. = I've come to Russia for a week. I've taken the kids to the dacha for the summer. I understood this particular sentence to mean that over the course of 3 years, she (a teacher) took children, her students, to England (several times). Perhaps including more of the context would have made this clearer (but there's only so much room on a slide!): A search for возила детей в Англию at ruscorpora.ru will lead you to the more complete context. :)

Update: sorry, checked authors answer after I wrote my initial response. It shows even better example
