I was waiting fo a video like this for a long time so pleas make more videos about AI tools and how can we use them to improve our animation level! Also hope to see you with other motion designers like Ben marriott and Jake bartlett Exchanging ideas some ideas could help motion designers to use the AI tools well. Like the video so much👌

Love your videos! You mentioned the $550-$800/day rate in the US. Is that based on salaried/hourly positions or based on freelancing rates?
@MotionHatch2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! Those figures are based on freelancing rates :)

Regardless of one's opinions about ai assistance in art, it's here, it's not going away, and fighting it is pointless. My own professors at design school in the late 90s literally refused to include photoshop in their graphic design program. Not limit it...not include it in tandem with traditional techniques like photographing your paste-up boards before getting them printed, not offer it as a supplementary tract. They flat out called designers who tried photoshop (and illustrator/freehand, and pagemaker) "traitors of creativity"...their words! 🤦 Not soon after, the design program at that school started to consistently rank amoungst the lowest-hired graduates in my state within the design field. I dropped out and went elsewhere. So imho...thinking critically and pragmatically about ai is absolutely essential. Otherwise, you're just going to be a dinosaur, unable to adapt. Btw, Haley, great video. Thanks, much! Btw #2, one way I'm using chatGPT is to outline a tutorial on a new skill I want to learn. For instance "outline a tutorial that will teach me how to animate in such-and-such manner". Then, going through the steps it suggests, I'm forced to test and identify the things it got wrong (and it WILL get things wrong right now...liek a lot LOL). But in making myself identify the errors, I really really learn the topic! Btw#3, mad props for the Flight of the Concords reference! 😍
