These gloves work fantastic. .First cold snap this year. I couldn't find the cable. I called them at 6.00pm on a sunday night and left a message. They called me back in 20 minutes and told me about the battery pockets right in the gloves. I wasn't aware of that. Dude hooked me right up. On a sunday night yet! Great product. Great service.

Hi. How long does the battery last.
@Noyjitat6 жыл бұрын
Had these over a year now and I do landscaping/construction. I use them with the stickman wire, the 16v batteries they sell and a milwaukee heated jacket. On high they are pretty freaking hot.... usually don't need to go this high with the gloves. As he mentions in a video about the batteries the gloves really do feel like your hands are enjoying the heat from a nearby campfire. When dealing with Water/sharps objects: If you're like me and you do construction/landscaping: Wear sufficient gloves over these liked you'd normally wear for handling sharp or thorny items like concrete, roses. If you cut stone using water or a wetsaw/ demolition saw be sure you're wearing pvc gloves over these. I stuck my hands with the pvc gloves on into the table saws water tray and cut pavers with the electric gloves on. No problems.... Just double check your gloves for holes ofcourse. These gloves solved many problems for me in the winter work especially when cutting pavers with a wetsaw. The only option we had at times before was to use hotwater in our saw which you have to keep changing out because it freezes up. And the pvc gloves alone even with hotwater still barely worked. They would ice over quickly.... Try the gloves, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thank you so much for the informational video. I have Raynaud disease and I ski and bike in winter. I feel such pain when the cold gets to my hands and fingers. I'm glad to get rid of that. Thank you so much.

How thick are the liners? Are they thin and tight enough for more precise use of your fingers? I'm a telecommunication technician, and even in cold winter I have to climb and work on utility poles. While I wear work gloves most of the time(that I would put over the heating gloves), I often need to remove them to get more precision. How durable are the liners also? Can they take a reasonable amount of abuse? Thanks

Excellent! 👍🏾 I don’t suppose you have a heated sock invention??
@PowerInMotion4 жыл бұрын
We are currently in the works on a heated sock to hopefully come out Fall 2021. Otherwise we have our heated insoles which can be found on our website. ca.itselectric.ca/category-s/113.htm

I wanted to use them for astrophotography. Can you feel a keyboard with them on? If not can you cut off the tips or would that short circuit it?
@PowerInMotion4 жыл бұрын
Yes, the glove liners is very thin, you can type on keyboard, with the touch screen finger tips, you can operate most of touch screen devices. No you can't cut off the tips, you will cut off the heated element around the fingers.

how durable is this set up? I work in a freezer 10-12 hour shifts and I use the gerbing and venture glove liners. I wear them under insulated choppers but the problem I have is after a few months with the venture glove liners the cord on the female end of the liner will start to fray causing the glove to shut off while I am working. the problem with the gerbing liners is almost the opposite. the male end of the battery wire will start to fray. sometimes within just a month or two. thanks for your time

+gregory burczyk It is best that you communicate with us by email info@PowerInMotion.ca, or tell to us at 403-233-8841. But to quickly answer your question. Our gloves liner had two plugs, one inside the gauntlet pocket, another plug located outside of the pocket, and sew onto the gloves. The outside plug is much stronger, we developed it based on snowboarder that rip apart our gloves during a fall. So you could plug and unplug 1,000 times, you will not able break the connector on the gloves side. Our battery is simple but extremely robust, with minimal circuit on it. So it is extremely reliable, you can bend the wire 1,000 times, you can't break it. Unless you purposely pull the wire with extreme force.

Are the battery lithium ion? I want to use the for paramotor but I am worried if they catch on fire while I am airbourne.
@PowerInMotion6 жыл бұрын
D C, the battery is lithium, by samsung 2600mAh. It is safe, and certified with UN38.3. The battery is wrapped in thin steel plate. Unless you purposely open up the battery for other reason, it is extremely robust. Compare to other heated gloves on the market that use soft pouch battery, which can be puncture easily. Those are battery I would stay away from. Lastly, we have quite a few PPG, paragliding customers already using our products.

is it damaging to the battery/gloves to leave them in a cold car while im at school? I wish to drive to school with them on, and then leave them in the car a few hours then come back. This is in Calgary winter. Is it bad if i do this?
@PowerInMotion8 жыл бұрын
for question and answer, please communicate by email. you should never leave any battery in cold temperature. Just like you don't leave your cell phone in cold car.
