This hits hard and so deep because, after resigning from my job a few months ago (after working so hard to build a successful career in the past five years). I am finally getting through an identity crisis after asking myself “who am I?”. I spent all those years identifying myself with what I did for a living. Whenever I met new people I would proudly talk about where I worked and what my job title was… I can now say, who I am is bigger than ME and what I do/did. It has been such a daunting phase in my life but one thing I know for sure, there will be a bigger and much more fulfilling outcome after all this is said and done. STAY BLESSED YA’ll ❤️

There was an interesting documentary produced a few years ago where this topic of what is our essence was explored. As part of the documentary someone asked many people on the streets of London, “What is your essence?” The answers were very interesting. Some admitted that they had never thought about it. Others were not sure. Some tried to respond by saying their name, or their profession. But most had a feeling that it was something deeper inside that goes beyond the everchanging and temporary body that each person is currently residing in.
