I made a dinner schedule back in 2013. Sunday’s chicken, Monday’s Italian, Tuesday’s leftovers, Wednesday’s seafood, Thursday’s beef, Friday’s pizza, Saturday’s pork. What I fix can change when seasons change. More grilling in the summer and more oven or crockpot in the winter. Sunday is family dinner night when all my grown children and grand babies come for dinner. The menu still works after 10 years.

Love this six week meal plan / chart. I'm now an empty nester and trying to be a good steward with all the meat in my freezer, so I want to make a simple, visual plan for working through it. Thanks for sharing the idea. Have a blessed day!

I use a theme for each day. That way I can use what I find on sale or clearance. Manic Monday-crockpot meal Taco Tuesday-Mexican Wacky Wednesday-Italian Thinking Thursday-Leftovers (trash day Friday AM) Freaky Friday-Kids choice/date night ‘Souper’ Saturday-Soup and Sandwiches Sunday-Comfort food

You could use a label maker to label the trays instead of nail polish and cross referencing.

Just a suggestion, Sara, from Living Traditions Homestead, has the simplest way to mark her trays. They sell plants at a farmers market so she had to come up with something that didn’t take a lot of time. Whatever works. Peggy

Happy Monday, Audrey! Have you been pleased with your Speed Queen so far? The repair tech informed me that the needed part to repair my washing machine was no longer being manufactured. 😟 Soooo, I’m on the hunt for a new one.

I absolutely love my speed Queen! I had an issue about six months after we bought it and customer service was fantastic. Come to find out, my kids had overloaded the machine and a sock had become lodged between the barrels and knocked the balance off. It was an easy (and FREE) fix thanks to their unlimited warranty!
