+CARSINO. productions That's fine, but what I don't like about the situation is having to wait 5 months to watch him fight Nate Diaz. How is fighting a 5th ranked fighter worthy of a main event? This guy is looking for a check which is why he fought Diaz in the first place. He thought he would dispatch Diaz without a scratch, make his big check, and still get to fight Dos Anjos. Otherwise he would have chose a more formidable opponent. He was looking for money and glory then, but now he's just looking for money. Even if he does beat Diaz, he will only prove that he can beat a guy that has never held a UFC title. He was supposed to be a phenom.

That's exactly what was said before the loss to Diaz💥. I wonder what excuse the band wagon is gonna come up with if he loses at Ufc 200. I'm sure there will be plenty 🤔
@omg933112
@omg933112 8 жыл бұрын
KashB22 are you saying before the loss people were talking about how the loss would make him an even better fighter? that makes zero sense. or do i just not understand wat u are saying.
@KashB22
@KashB22 8 жыл бұрын
+Albo Solidarietas No, what I'm saying is that people were talking about this "greatness" before the loss and even believed he would never lose. I wonder if he is even gonna win at Ufc 200. Time will tell...... You have your opinion and so do I.
@omg933112
@omg933112 8 жыл бұрын
KashB22 in terms of striking he truly is greatness, there is no denying it. his striking is absolutely phenomenal and pound for pound you could say he is number 1 striker. i mean i thought maybe hed never lose, but that doesnt happen often in mma, most champions lose eventually and come back examples: silva,gsp,couture,lidell,bj penn,aldo,edgar,rampage,the list just goes on. in mma everyone loses

I respect him more after this loss, not less. The man is a true sportsman, athlete, and will always be a champion in my eyes. He is the embodiment of the fighting spirit, confident before the battle, emboldened by victory, yet humbled by loss. Good fucking game, Conor; good, fucking, game. Carry on, brother.

+Juan Lopez I agree, these fanboys are fokking delusional, this shit actually seriously pisses me off. The only thing Conor is really good at is cutting ridiculous amounts of weight, beating up midgets and marketing. There was no better guys in the sport to put a beating on him other than Nick or Nate Diaz. They have kept it real from the beginning and have always called the UFC out on overhyping shit fighters. The fact that it was Nate that did it is pure poetry.
@Silverjerk
@Silverjerk 8 жыл бұрын
***** This is the same, myopic, meathead mentality I see everywhere these discussions are taking place. The irony is, by asserting that anyone respecting Conor's competency as a fighter is a fanboy makes you suspect of the very same grievance you're arguing against. The world isn't black and white, my friend. I have mad respect for Nate as well; as someone who's trained myself, I respect anyone who has the balls, and the wherewithal to weigh their physical prowess against another human being. But, alas, you made an assumption, because you came into the discussion with a chip on your fucking shoulder. And Fanboy? What are you fucking 12? Eat a dick. Same thing applies to Mike Hunt, because apparently he doesn't seem understand the concept either. You can both take your narrow-minded, try-hard bullshit elsewhere.

Haha I love this guy. Connor is a beast and quite an inspirational individual. I felt bad for the guy cause everyone was doubting him. You can just sense the vibe, no one was cheering for him anymore, media kept saying how they can't imagine him winning. Seen several podcast on joe rogan basically saying he wouldn't be able to win. You can tell connor mcgregor heard some of those podcast by the way he reacted when he saw joe rogan about to give him an interview. Like he had no respect for him anymore. What an amazing feeling he must have proving the naysayers wrong.

+Jr Ngoy Woah, could you imagine if Floyd had tried that haha. Roy would've eaten him. I agree, he needs to work his way back up at this point. He's what this speed needs though, more willing, durable fighters are needed.

+Jr Ngoy Mayweawther started his career at 135lbs...Jones at 154lbs. McGregor, although putting up a good fight fought Diaz who's a 155lbs.'er. He didn't fight a true Welterweight like Robbie Lawler, Carlos Condit, Rory Macdonald, etc.

+Clyde Erwin Barretto Diaz is a Hugh 155'er and has fought 2 fights at 170. Diaz walks at 185 190 and cuts to 155! crazy I know. but hey they all do it. Diaz won fair and square but Conor was ridiculously smaller and had to put on 8 pounds. I know from experience If I had to not cut weight but put it on to fight I would be alot slower. ALOT SLOWER. But he accepted the fight like a man and fought and unfortunately lost. So Diaz won that fight forsure but this is the fight game and if Conor is as Good as I believe he is he will come back. Shit Diaz has 10 losses and in my opinion one of the best. I hope he beats RDA and gets another great check he deserves it. I just hate the haters of fighters for example... Bandwagoners that have now jumped on the Diaz 209 Bus continue to say " HE shut the Big mouth up!" WTF LOL NATE HAS JUST AS BIG OF A MOUTH! AND MORE CURSING! IT'S PART OF THE BUSINESS IT MAKES FIGHTS MORE INTERESTING. SO IN OTHER WORDS REAL FIGHTERS DON'T HATE! WE SHOW RESPECT BECAUSE IN ANY GIVEN FIGHT THAT COULD BE US.

If nothing else, this last fight will help Conor to gauge the use of his weapon that is his left hand--when to use it, when to hold it back, and to methodically pace himself thru the fight for the effort of disposing of his opponent. I feel Conor will continue to dominate the 145 and 155 divisions... what I look forward to is when he comes back to 170. That's the real true test. I look forward to the next video once he fights at ufc200 "The Comeback"

I have a renewed respect for Dana White, he took his back to back losses to Holly Holm then Nate Diaz like a man, no crying no complaining. Now he is already back in the gyms every day working tirelessly looking for the perfect opponent, someone who is bad enough for his guys to beat up on but not so bad that the public will figure out what's going on.
