The metals needed for the batteries are terrible for the earth and use child slave labor in the Congo to get all the cobalt needed for the mass production of the batteries. Also to charge an electric car takes way longer than filling up a gas tank as well as it takes just as much gas to charge an electric car such as a Tesla.
