Sadly we have too much rap crap and the pimp culture of X Factor making you famous for not doing the hard work and earning the fame . Thank God I grew up ( well kind of) during the great era of the seventies and saw what the eighties produced and some of the nineties . Sadly since 2000 it has been all down hill and not just with music .

I think that tommy and mick are why sound good but if go checkout in another dimension where nikki didn't formed the band mötley Crüe wouldn't be Rockstar. I mean the dude composed 60% of a song in the band (lyrics ans progression chord) so yeah without mick no big and agressive sound but without nikki no catchy songs
@samuellivingston52554 жыл бұрын
Bill Fraser I get what you are saying, and it’s true, Nikki did write the basic melody structure of the songs. The reason I think mick is what makes the band work though is because his playing is a mix of nikkis simple melodies but with added lead and technicality, without it the songs would be empty and repetitive in my opinion

People, that are probably better professional singers than Vince Neil, are always posting slams on KZbin about the quality of his singing, pronunciation, and/or skipping words. I wonder if they know that he was making the most of his physical ability and when singing on all of the award winning recordings and doing hundreds of shows, many back-to-back, started to take a toll, vocal coaches devised ways, like simplifying lyrics and/or dropping certain words to prevent his vocal cords from blowing out completely. What many call laziness, was in fact, a dedication to his craft, by a man who, although not as physically blessed as his KZbin detractors, has been able to perform professionally over 4 decades and is still going. While not quite as good as the typical KZbin vocal critic, still a commendable attempt, IMHO.

Damn Randy well he was definitely a good showman. I think you lay on the defense a little too thick for a guy that was never really that talented since videos from way back in1983 show he’s not singing this song very well then either, even without many years of beating up his voice. But regardless of all that he certainly made the most of what he had and made millions of fans worldwide happy, so who am I or anyone to really trash the guy.

I think Vince's voice is good here. Really raw, the way Rock n Roll should be. Plus you gotta consider that this is a band that's on tour, playing 5 nights a week. A touring voice is much different than a weekend warrior. I'd imagine the whole thing sounded way better if you were there in the building, instead of nit picking everything apart on youtube.

Tereza Lungu wasn't that guns we're bigger they were still going for years while Crue wasn't even together or members doing their own thing.crue got back together with original lineup and we're in the top 10 biggest concerts.guns had members constantly doing something and being in the spot light where Crue only Tommy maybe sixx once in awhile.still when they got together their shows were huge even without a new album so no guns not bigger.both bands will always have equal success so can't really say that
