I have been listening to crue since I was little, and I just in the last 2 years have really gotten into them more and I swear I can tell you almost anything about the band (and Nikki 😏) and my friends think I’m literally insane. 💀

Can't believe I found it!!! I remember this show when I was a kid, that's when I became a fan of the Crue. Couldn't wait until I went to school Monday to talk about this with my friends. In Detroit this was a Saturday morning show.

Their "performance" for this TV show also included "Piece of Your Action". And yes, I was pissed that "Live Wire" was shortened for the TV viewers & had the credits roll over it. Yeah, yeah, I know it was all lip-synched with the studio version being blasted out. But back then, that's how all the TV shows did it (didn't matter who the artist was). Motley Crue made the most of this opportunity. Shout At The Devil had just come out, & "Looks That Kill" would drive it. Many fans who'd stumbled across "Looks That Kill" didn't even know that Shout At The Devil was their second album. Getting this TV show to feature both "Piece of Your Action" and "Live Wire" proved to be pivotal for the band as it drove fans into demanding that their first album be re-released. Subsequently, in 1985... Motley got to HEADLINE a big arena tour after the release of Theatre Of Pain. They really didn't have enough solid, original material at that time to warrant such an opportunity, but they delivered on "the spectacle" of it all.

100% Milli Vanilli lip sync here. The audio is clearly the studio album version with added reverb and a clap track. Anyone who disagrees has clearly NEVER seen the Crue live and has ZERO musical knowledge, lmao. Vince is a showman more than a singer. He always ad libs vocal parts, misses words, etc during live performances.

every band in the late 70s and early 80s had to lip sync the songs on game shows..music shows and talk shows.only exception were shows like SNL and a few others but shows like solid gold ect all did the lip sync,wasnt the bands idea its just how tv was back then,im not sure if they did it for time restraints or they didnt have the ability to dump out if there was swearing or audio mishaps,anyway,get over it you millinnials.there was life on earth before you showed up and to be honest,it was better! id rather have a lip syncing motley crue then live imagine dragons! fml
