Makes a huge difference. I had a leather jacket which I really like, but just felt cramped and a bit uncomfortable around the neck. Swapped out the default foam (which was decent quality) for D3O armour and its an absolute game changer.

Finally some in the states doing protection review. Never heard of the last armour . But it looks lioe just what i want. I have been doing alot of research on the CE rated stuff. I tide in south west texas heat. I am 66 anf becoming concerned about the fragility of my skin and bones. I cant believe i have gone this long with just helmet and gloves. Tshirt and jeans. Ugh!!! Dumb!!! The states needs to catch up and begin to educated its riding public. Anyway after seeing info from bike social testing i think i am going with Hood AAA jeans and john doe motoshirt. It would be nice if they yad a bright color to be noticed on the road. Yes they will be very warm during those 100 f days but the protection is the best. Gloves and boots i am going Indie ridge too notch gear. The songle layer jeans look nice but the testing shoes the hood k7aaas out perform them. Anyway keep up the good work. Oh yeah i dont care much about stylishness as much as i care about the comfort protection and trying to he visible ir noticeable to the car drivers

I've been struggling to find the right bike for me. It was so hard because I wanted something customizable, but it was hard to find parts for the bikes i was looking at, but you set up links to help customize the xsr700. What pants do you recommend for like super hot days (plus 30 degrees Celcius)? A single-layer Dyneema pants (68% cotton, 13% dyneema, 10% polyamide, 8% polyester) OR regular motorcycle jeans with kevlar insert? I have pants with aramid insert and it hurts on hot days. Looking for an alternative that breathes well and is generally light. I heard what you said about each of your pants briefly in one of the previous vids, but I'd like to know your opinion on "what to buy for hot days". Cheers!

For me at least I prefer the Kevlar or lined pants. So something like the Akin or a Uglybros I like in hot hot days. The dyneema makes me sweat a lot or at least is more noticeable. Honestly when it’s hot it’s hard to get around it haha.

Thanks for the response, mate! The problem is I live in Poland, Europe, so I don't have access to brands you typically use (like Akin, Ugly Bros, John Doe), as they have no distribution here. I have to search for similar products based on the specs. Love your videos. You focus on just the right things. I find your channel one of the most informative, and yet best made moto channels in terms of editing etc. Respect and keep up the good job! (Also, waiting for some worldwide give aways :P)

They probably do, but that oftentimes doubles the price (a couple of years back, I paid 65 USD for shipping of two books from the U.S. that cost 62 USD), and there's also additional custom fee for purchases above 100 bucks. So with no official distribution in the EU, they are basically unavailable here :/

The fabric on the ghost stops the shape and pattern of the armour showing through the denim and should face outwards.

If you have that many jackets you must have a lot of riding jeans. For a video idea you should review your jeans and how they fit, etc.
