Amazing trip today. My partner karen really wanted a Mcdonalds in agadir but closed for ramadan. You said road goes up and up......try morocco mate! You think you going into space. We need to do a trip together with our partners. And so positive too! Where is mr grumpy cos he has been replaced by mr almost happy and smiley!

Well I guess there's no chance of squaring your tyres off on the N2!! Maccies is my go to every time I'm out on my bike, always a lot of bikers at there as it is close to the "Rutland TT", just a decent circuit around Rutland in the Midlands. Awesome sunset captured on the drone, I hope you had a dump 💩outside the noisy folks tent before you left! 🤣

Earplugs are the kiddie. I wouldn't go camping without them. I have to say looking at campsites in Europe, on this and other channels I watch, they are pretty different from those in the UK. I don't know if that is good or bad or if it even matters, just an observation really. The N2 is still delivering the goods though, amazing.

We found the camp sites vary massively in price and quality but something we were not prepared for was gravel and stone pitches

@@ontheroadadventure The gravel and stone is what I have spotted on lots of occasions. It's as if they are putting tents on a caravan / camper van pitch. I have not ever had that in the UK but I get the impression it's not that unusual in Europe.

It might not be the cuisine of choice, but you can always get coffees there, and the facilities are usually ckean. Free WiFi, too. Have their uses! The soup might be caldo verde. Basically potato with strips of cabbage. A national dish! Bakeries ( Padaria) are a good choice for pitstops. All sorts of fresh savouries as well as cakes and pastries. Usually good coffee too. Ride safe 👍

I rode through a mountain pass once where clouds came in and I could barely see in front of me. Not going to lie it was amazing! Best thing I seen was wild horses halfway up the mountain, their hair so long it was on the ground and they were in my path so I had to stop and just admired them. Great experiences travelling by bike

You both have laminated membrane waterproof jackets, so why carry additional waterproofs. All they will do is create condensation when worn and excess bulk when not worn. My laminate jacket is 100% waterproof, but if I open the waterproof zips, The airflow is good for 35c days.

For us the additional waterproofs have several advantages besides ensuring we are kept dry and our textiles do not fail in hours of relentless rains. They give a additional layer of warmth, protection from the winds and at night our waterproof layers are Oxford Bright seal which glow brightly in the dark which increases our visibility and safety

Ear plugs only for sleeping? Surely not. You will destroy your hearing if you ride without ear protection. Best most comfy option is fitted plugs. And cheapest is Hospital Audiology Clinic and something called Swim Plugs - about £40. Nearly half the price of the cheapest retail - same quality, better fitted and don't irritate half as quick as the stuff you bought. And can be used at night of course along with a neck muff over your eyes because hotels always have poor curtains

We like to use ear plugs on the bike if we have to do motorway but generally we like to ride the small roads. Not such luck for hotel curtains on this tour!

European McDonalds in some countries are better than others, but... all are still better than in the US, cas in some European countries they won't eat such a crap. What's wrong with your cameras? All newer action cams are waterproofed. Cats are beautiful and harmless animals. Please feed them if you see them out there.

The cameras are waterproof until you add the extra equipment we use for our Audio. The connections are vulnerable for water damage
