Beautiful country superbly filmed and narrated, you should be payed by whatever tourist agencies you have over there. Partly thanks to you I just bought a 2017 FJR1300AE in Tech Graphite and it looks perfect with only 1500 miles, i'm planning on going up to Scotland next year. Now I need to sell my 2000 VFR800 and Triumph Explorer to make some room lol. Thanks for another awesome video and keep up the good work.

Another good video John. Man, you're killin' me. I love that part of Arkansas but live just outside Memphis and just can't get over that way often. Also, really like the FJR, I almost bought one but my long legs had my knees touching the fairing.

Thanks for watching sir, the FJR is a bit cramped for me as well but I can ride long days without any issues.. I am lucky ..... keep safe out there... :)

Another enjoyable video, Jon. You're the best! Though the concerts I was looking forward to at the Wildwood Springs Lodge this fall have been cancelled / postponed till spring, I'm still hoping for another trip to the Ozarks before the cold weather sets in for the riding and the leaves. Thanks as always and keep up the good work!

I don't know why they bother with the deer signs. If it's like west TN, I could hit a deer anywhere from leaving my driveway to the whole 18 miles to work.

Great Video. I was hoping that your video would share some footage of your bike all loaded up with your gear. I am planning a 3000 mile trip and need some ideas on what to take and how to pack. PM me if you have any photos or links to any other videos you might have posted. Thanks.

Good to hear from you sir, I usually load up my paniers and top case with my clothes and tools and electronics. I carry all my camping gear in a dry sack strapped across the back seat in front of the top case. I usually get by with a 60 liter dry sack for all that stuff. I also have my kitchen stuffed in to a backpack that I strap on top of my dry sack. That is the way I do it but everyone has there own way. You can see another FJR I had all loaded up on a trip to Yellowstone NP here..... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIWcXoCAftanfa8 Thanks for watching and keep safe sir... :)

Ozarks Backroads sold that 2018 Yamaha MT-07 you saw me on when we met by Peel Ferry. Undecided b/w 2018+ FJR or a 2017+ Kawasaki Concours. Could happen in the next couple weeks if I can find the right deal. Dealer fees are dumb! Road trip for some mods and riding...you game?

Hi there John can you help me please how do I store my motorcycle for the winter do I keep fuel indide the tank do I take the front wheel off the ground any tips will be welcomed
@ozarksbackroads54844 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching sir, here in southern Missouri I keep my bikes in the garage and all that I do is keep the batteries hooked up to a battery tender for the winter. I have never had fuel issues from overwintering in a garage. If you live in a much colder climate with longer winters you might want to add a bit of fuel stabilizer to the tank after your last ride for the season. If your keeping your bike in the garage the tires will be fine overwinter. You can move the bike a little every now and then to rotate tires if it makes you feel better... thanks sir and keep safe out there... :)

I been having a hard time adjusting to the sudden cooler weather . 60 feels cold after months of 95 and humid 🙄. I feel like such a sissy! Wtf is going on here 😅😅😅😅. Yea that was pretty crazy. Not very smart either

I'd say the FJR is better than a Gold Wing on backroads like these, but not at the speed you ride, and not at all on the interstate. I have both and the comfy old "Wing" holds it's own due to the ride quality and lower CG. Both need to lose 100+lbs.

Passing you just to stop and get off the bike in your line of travel none the less. Completely clueless.
