HI, Myself purchased 4G variant for 7999/- from Flipkart I will strongly recommend you to go for 4G variant not 3G variant. Advantage of 4G variant which has additional features are as follows 1) OTG -- This message I am typing and sending by connecting my keyboard and mouse to mobile via OTG cable . Great it have converted my Smart Phone to Palm Computer. Now at budget phone I can use keyboard which can help me to type long letters etc on move . You can connect Pen drive also so certainly you can load your pen drive with some movie from Computer and use it 2) 4G Technology. Fact is that Telecom companies have taken license from Govt. of India to launch 4G but due to one or other reason they are delaying it. But Imp. thing if 4G is not launched before Dec 2015 then their license will be cancelled so expect in few days 4G and that time you will regret taking 3G 3) Chipset - As Ranjit has stated it has better chip set it is more advanced 4) Myself not good in hardware but 3G variant is 32bit and 4G is 64bit this makes difference exact thing I really don't know I liked my choice of taking white model

Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation does come with a auto brightness sensor. In Android Lollipop its known as Adaptive Brightness. Please rectify that in the video.

Sir, while reviewing, please try checking the productivity apps.. If possible, try running a heavily animated PowerPoint presentation. My old gen moto e lags a lot in between slides. I believe this is the perfect way to test a phone's processor and speed

Haven't tested both those devices so cannot comment yet on there actual performance, but looks like Moto will have a slight edge coz of almost stock android and also Motorola is quicker in updates, may be in camera performance the Sony might be better.
