i love this phone. im typing this comment using ready for. i used termux terminal and andronix modded debian to run side by side with ready for. running smooth even with 2 desktop environments running at the same time. im looking into limbo PC emulator, which allows you to run any x86 iso on android as a virtual machine. it might be any ARM architecture iso....idk yet. this phone is a solid productivity beast.

If you don’t need the S pen, yes. But also keep in mind that Motorola just released a case for this phone that comes with a stylus and a slot for it to be stored in. It’s 79.99 on Motorolas website. The phone and the case will still cost you less than the ultra 22.

Yea that refresh is gonna be a battery hog. Does the phone stay cool or run warm?

I have thought about it. I like that red color. I’ve gotta finish up reviews for the Edge plus 2022 and the edge 2022. Those are two great options especially if your not a pixel fan. There a great way to go but he’s that fusion is nice. I may bring it in. You plan to pick it up?

It's a edge series phone so you know it's going to be a decent phone it's a higher End mid range phone I'll put it a tier below the moto edge plus 2022

It’s 999.99 full msrp. Best Buy had a sale when I got mine which was a hundred off so I got mine for 899.99. It’s a really good phone and worth every cent to me.

Hello, big moto fan here and thanks for the unboxing and review I appreciate the in-depth settings etc um qeustion I'm using the edge plus 2020 version it's a great phone but I really want this phone but I don't understand why it hasn't came to Canada yet? Do you by any chance when it will arrive I know I can get it off the moto USA website and get it shipped to Canada but if rather get it from my carrier with the warranty etc instead of having to ship it back to the states if I have problems etc , even the RAZR didn't even come to Canada like what is going on , the only flagship phones that came was the edge plus 2020 and the edge 20 2021 weird right ?

Yeah that is strange. I’m not sure why it didn’t come to Canada or if it will. Your only option may be to order it directly from Motorola. The edge 2020 was a Verizon exclusive as far as carriers that had it. Aside from that you could get it unlocked through the Moro website or Amazon I believe. Here’s the link for it on Amazon if you wanna purchase it through them. Your welcome. The curved screen is a nice touch. They decided not to keep the curved screen on the new one. It's all flat with boxy corners. The edge name was fitting with the curved corners.

I do still have it and it’s awesome. One of the best flagships of the year on my opinion. Not sure what it is about pixels but they don’t keep my interest for very long. To me this is the perfect alternative to a pixel device as it pertains to a pure stock Android type of feel. With Motorola, I like the stock feel with the Moto spin on it. I even think the cameras are right on par with the pixels of not a tad better. I highly recommend it.

Yes indeed I'd make that trade. The Moto is offering more. The thing is, are you completely ingulfed into the apple ecosystem? That transition from Apple to Android for some is difficult..

The Motorola Edge 2022 actually got a better review on Android Central than the Edge+. I own the Edge 2022 and it's the best phone I've ever had.

Why unless you absolutely love Moto would you get this for 1k when you can literally get a one plus 11 or ten that's killing this in every catagory? Not to mention it's cheaper.
