How did you not mention that the G8 plus has stereo speakers. A big consideration got some.

8G has conversion from holding your phone the wrong way to making a video the right way ... everyone hats down to Lenovo for trying to fix vertical photos on the internet.

You missed the most important feature as mentioned below the G8 Plus has two really nice sounding Stereo Speakers. Which to me trumps the G9 Plus every single time. I have the Moto G7 Plus at the moment which even trumps the G8 Plus for sound tho more expensive and has a glass back and front.

Forgot to mention the number one thing you need with mobile phones, Signal strength. Moto G8 plus wins on signal strength.

Motorola is weird with the distribution of the Moto G smartphones. They would offer the core phone and the "Play" variation in the States while they would offer the "Plus" version of the Moto G overseas. This has been the case since the Moto G6 Plus. You won't find these phone in a retailer like T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T as they're not intended for sale in the US. Yet you could still get one ship and sold by Amazon regardless. However, this year Motorola changed the branding in the States so instead of getting the "Moto G8/G9" we got the "Moto G Power" and the "Moto G Stylus." These phones are considered a relaunch of the G series in the US while Internationally people are still able to get the Moto G9 and beyond.

They're releasing phones WAY too often, like every 8 months. And they're releasing too many models, it makes the software updates on all models suffer because they can't keep up.

Can everyone please start making phones again, that are phones, and not tablets? People always compliment Apple, etc. when they do make phones that fit in your pocket. It’s wanted, the novelty of phablets has worn off. Yet Motorola, etc. try to outdo each other with these gigantic phones.
