I always avoided edge phones due to the curved display but since getting the edge 2024, my favorite part about ot is the screen! The edge was free at metro and shocked me because of how solid of a phone it is!

I have the Edge Plus 2023 and it is a great phone but the curved display is hard to anything in the curve a lot of the time. Hope you have better luck.

I wish they would combine the two phones and make a higher end Moto G Stylus phone with higher end specs. I would pay more money for an upgraded Moto G Stylus, but I don't want the glass back or curved display. The curved displays are hard to protect and I'd rather have a plastic back so I do 't need a case. I just purchased the red Moto G Stylus 2024 and I really like the build, function, and look of the phone. It feels good in the hand, but I wish the edges on the back side were curved. I also like the connect functions, but with the Moto G Stylus you can't use desktop mode through the USB C. I would pay more for a phone that had all the functionality of the Edge, but with a plastic shell and flat glass front.

The Motorola Edge Plus 2022 is stylus supported. The only problem is you have to buy the stylus case combo separately from the phone.

I'm Honestly loving my moto edge 2024 this thing is a underated beast , the camera's are excellent for photos and videos, battery life for 2 days easily with light use, call quality is amazing, the stereo speakers sound awesome, the only thing I recommend is buying a case for this phone as it's super thin and sort of hard to carry without one other than that it's definitely comparable with a flagship Samsung I've pushed this phone with every app open and it took it like a champ even though I was making a Railfan video for my KZbin channel it never overheated and it never slows down. Motorola did a awesome job with this phone.

I dont know why they keep taking the SD card slot out of the phones, its a micro SD especially, you already made the phone close to 7 inches tall just use a little bit more space to add an SD slot,, same with the fucking battery too

I have the stylus 2024. Love it. You don't know how handy the pen is. Once you have it, you won't ever go back. Love the cameras Still have the 2021 moto g. This phone gives me over a day and a half of continueous video binge plus music . In fact 90% of watching You Tube is done on the 2021 moto g. Including watching your video now.There is no phone out there except Blackview than can compare to the moto g 2021 I have had Samsung and iPhone in the past few years. So I am a phone junkie.

Haha i still use my moto g7 power for watching movies and youtube. One because the battery. 2 is because the colors look a lot better on that phone for some reason. The colors look deeper.

Interesting how that you say the edge is better all around other than the stylus phone having the stylus. But then you go on to mention that the stylus phone has an SD card slot. And then you mentioned the stylus phone has a headphone jack. The stylus phone has a larger screen. So yeah, basically everything that I care about is better on the stylus. In fact what exactly is better on the edge phone? The slightly higher refresh rate?

After using both, the display on the stylus is calibrated way better! The Edge looks kinda crappy. I have an S24 and when you set the stylus to natural color with the warm tone it matches exactly. The Edge doesn't look as good. Strange.

I have the Stylus 2024 I went with that one because I had a Samsung phone with curved screen and i hated it after awhile

If it were actually just the lack of a stylus that was worse with the Edge then I might go with it, but no micro sd card slot or headphone jack are dealbreakers. The cons of curved dislplays also annoy me, I don't wanna struggle even more to find a good screen protector

You make some fine points about the Moto Edge, but to some of us a headphone jack and expandable memory are really important. With all of the improvements to the Moto Stylus it is a very attractive option besides the stylus. From your point of view, might as well buy a Samsung phone as that is the direction the Moto Edge is heading 😢

Note: Thats a Motorola Edge NEO version ( is the lower in the Edge series) , you should try the Motorola Edge 40 Pro 5G or the Edge 50 5G

I thought the same thing but now the screen is my favorite part about it! Trust me the edge is a great phone! The screen, speakers, chip, charging, and camera are all better on the edge! But the stylus is still a great phone but if your getting them for the same price definitely go with the edge! The screen is gorilla glass to on the edge so it's more protected when dropped

Question? Since the Moto edge 2024 does not come with a charger, do I have to buy a 68 watt charger or is it possible to charge it with a less wattage charger that I already have? Anyone know?? Thanks

You can charge it with pretty much any charger. Obviously a lower wattage charger will charge slower. There is also 15watt wireless charging.

You're not getting the phones for free. They require perhaps more expensive plans that cost more than unlocked and prepaid plan routes.

The stylus has a snapdragon 6 gen 1 GPU is 710, edge is snapdragon 7s gen 2 and GPU is also the 710. Same GPU the edge will have slightly faster CPU. Stylus a78 cores 2.2ghz edge a78 cores 2.4ghz. there practically the same specs, stylus gets SD card and 3.5 jack. Edge gets curved screen and metal frame, and a slightly faster CPU, 68wat charge vs 30 w on stylus.

Both are free now for open a new line at T Mobile. I need to get a phone for my teenage. The price is 300 and 200 respectively. I think I will get the Moto G because the headphone jack and expandable memory. I might not use it (my teenage) for I have a Nord20 without the sim now since upgraded to the Nord30. The Nord20 battery life is way better than the Nord30. The camera on Nord30 is excellent. I let the kid decide what phone he like. Thank for the info.

However; Moto g stylus 2024 do have "quick button" by double tap back (M) logo to activate quick screen and customize it...
