I have a 1952 Airone Sport 250 that I purchased in Italy from the original owner and now it resides with me in Mississippi! I absolutely love it! Everything you say about it is true...fast, balanced and fun!

How can you tell whether the airone you are looking at is a sport or a turismo?

Actually the Turismo has the same brakes, only the rear one is operated by the heel of the foot because the footrest are more forward, the wheels are steel and not alluminium as in the Sport. For the rest the Sport engine is indeed more powerful and a Sport in excellent condition can indeed run at 120km/h. It is indeed a very enjoyable machine to ride
