To anyone that's having as much difficulty as me removing the gas tank because of that weird red outlet and grey pipe fitting, you don't actually have to remove the gas tank or detach the hose. Elevating the tank even by a few inches with some wood was enough to get at the air filter.

never ceases to amaze me how complex it is to replace an air-filter on most motorbikes , I'm not totally mechanically inclined but usually happy to take on easier maintenance jobs so not a biggy to remove fuel tank , battery and what have you to get to the part that needs replacement -- but to me it seems like accessibility to all filters is mostly an afterthought with most bike vendors. Goof for dealerships not so good for the wallet.

You don't have to remove the seat or the tank in order to change the air cleaner. If you use a short stubby philips you can undo the screws quite easily. You do need undo the 2 bolts to the rectifier so that instead of having to remove it sideways it will come out the front. The filter cover it isn't necessary to remove completly-nor is it necessary to remove the breather. You simply push it off to one side. That plastic fairing I'm unsure whether I took that off-I have a feeling I managed by moving rectifier out of the way. If you do need to remove the wee fairing it's only 4 screws.

Pretty sure the Italians did this design on purpose. It makes one "manly and macho" if they know how to do this much dirty work just to get to an air filter LOL.....great instructional, thank you for this! I should probably change the air filter on my 2010 v7 Classic sometime here soon, this video will help a lot

Hi Mike! I've noticed that you changed the fuel line with aftermarket hoses. Wise move, as the original part costs more than 80 euros. Do you remember the inner diameter of the aftermarket hoses?

Hi Mike, I've been enjoying your videos for a while, and have recently acquired a Breva 750. I'm thinking that the Horn is pretty useless, and wondered if you have any experience or knowledge of upgrading the stock horn for something less wimpy? I notice the two lugs on the frame downtubes at the front which don't seem to have a purpose... maybe mounting points for twin Fiammis or similar? Any thoughts welcome. Alex

Hi Alex, ours still has the original horn but make sure you allow clearance for front wheel movement if you install a bigger one. You will probably also need to use a relay if you install a horn that draws serious current as the horn wiring is a bit light on.

The original horn appears to be tucked up under the gas tank to judge by your video. That's why I wasn't able to find it! Was puzzled that I could (just about) hear it, but not see it...! Thanks for your reply. I have seen an Italian-made horn for sale that draws 5 amps and doesn't need a relay apparently.

I ran the starter to release any pressure in the fuel line. It's probably not necessary for the Breva.
