V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa (Slideshow).
I have owned this Guzzi from 2004-2011.
The bike was manufactured in 2003, I was the second owner.

Here is a list (in German) of my modifications:
- konischer 2-2 MAB Auspuff (Edelstahl poliert), Zwischenrohre für Betrieb mit und ohne Kat
- DÄS Doppelzündung/Brennraum- u. Rechneroptimierung für MEHR Drehmoment
- DÄS Ventilführungen, Ventile & Ventilsitzbearbeitung
- DÄS Lenker (schwarz) + Kellermann Schwingungsdämpfer VA
- DÄS Fußbremshebel Alu-gefräst
- DÄS Schwingenlagerbolzen aus VA
- 2 Rechner für Betrieb mit/ohne Kat
- BMC Luftfilter
- hydraul. Federvorspannung (Öhlins hinten)
- Askubal VA Gelenkköpf für Drosseklappengestänge
- Askubal VA Gelenkköpfe für Schaltgestänge
- Cockpitplatte aus Carbon
- gefräste Alu Zylinderschutzbügel
- Anlasserabdeckung aus Carbon
- Öhlkühler Gitter von der Rosso der Mandello
- Edge-Gard A+B Kunststoffabdeckungen unter Batterie und hinter Federbein (Schutz vor Schmutz)
- Limadeckel poliert
- Kardanglocke vorne abgedreht (zum leichteren Abfetten) und neu lackiert (inkl. Klarlack)
- Kardan neu lackiert (inkl. Klarlack)
- Rahmenheck Klarlack-beschichtet
- Schwinge Klarlack-beschichtet
- Rahmenplatten & Ventildeckel neu lackiert (Lasurverfahren, Lack bleicht nicht mehr aus)
- Hintere Radabdeckung in Anthrazit lackiert

These lemans v11 versions have my number. ever since 2004. the black version looks great too!

You can not beat the simplicity of a Guzzi engine top end rebuild, yes I am a Guzzi fanatic and slightly biased to say the least, knees in the breeze ladies and gentlemen and keep the dream alive 👍👍

Thank you Mr. Cox :-). The original coating of the valve covers and the "pork chops" was lousy. It faded over the years maybe caused by sunlight.

Bin auch gerade im Begriff mir eine v11 zuzulegen...kannst du mir vielleicht paar sachen nennen wo ich drauf achten muss ? Das wäre echt super cool

@@janguzzi ich habe gerade zwei im Blick. Die eine fällt aber leider schon raus weil sie mir zu verfrickelt ist. Die andere ist original bj 13. Die gehe ich mir nächste Woche mal ansehen .Hat auf jedenfall schon den neuen Tacho und das rohr von Krümmer zu Krümmer. Lack kann ich auf den Bildern nicht erkennen ob das kreuseliger oder glatter ist.

Baujahr 13? Also 2013? Unmöglich, die V11 wurde bis 2005/06 gebaut. Bj 2003 hat vermutlich noch den Kräusellack.

@@janguzzi mein Fehler..ich meinte natürlich 2003. Worauf sollte ich denn achten wenn ich davor stehe? Undichtigkeiten usw allgemeiner pflegezustand denke ich ist klar .Aber gibt es was typisches für das Modell? Ich will mir natürlich nicht meinen Traum mit ner gurke versauen lassen ;)

Puh ... nicht so leicht zu beantworten. Sie sollte möglichst original sein. Frag doch einfach mal im V11 Forum. Ich würde die späten Modelle bevorzugen: Ballabio, Scura R, Coppa Italia, Café Sport, Nero Corsa, Rosso Corsa

Hi Kristian, the exhaust manufacturer made a Dyno run at that time, so it was just the MAB exhaust with a MG Titanitum Kit ECU (purchased via Mistral). As far as I can remember the performance was a bit about factory performance data but with much more midrange torque. Later with all other modifications the bike felt completely different again. With the ECU mapping from Däs-Mototec the bike must have had a least 100 HP and 100 NM or even more.

I had a Dyno Run with my silver V11: almost 100 hp without doing anything. Amazing! So I did a couple of things to the IAW 15 in the lower revs to get some more torque. Still a fantastic bikes after all these years! My "Black" V 11 is customized very much .... but also not more then 100HP
