I was going to ask if that was a safe spot for the ejector seat switch, given the proximity to your knee... then I realised it was probably something to do with the v-twin boost perhaps??? Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the look and feel of a 1911 - probably why I ended up with a guzzi 😀

Hey Zap...have you tried the mistral velocity stack? Head over to mg cycle. It's on the first page. I've been running it for four or five months. It really has made quite a bit of mid-range difference. Worth 160 bucks for sure

Hello; thank you for all the great videos on the V 85 ; I’m an older fellow now late 60s returning to riding after 35 year layoff mostly dirt bikes back then bultaco, montessa, ossa, and some Japanese; I just purchased a 2021 V7 850 Special and considering a V85 and on both bikes I’d like to follow your lead on changing them from the lean running E5 operation with exhaust modifications as well as other things you’ve performed thanks again John; I hope there’s a way I can keep in touch with you for a future tips

What was that switch by the exhaust? Also, how much did you put into your v85? I'm in the market, but I cannot find someone to bounce questions off of. Any problems with it so far? Did you adjust the valves yet?

Everything's going well I'm going to try another map from upmap zard map I have in has a little pre ignition the switch is for a computer fan that's in between the cylinders for cooling the fuel injection system.

I had the bike set up for the 1300 miles of dirt roads in death valley. So after I removed the knobby tires I'll write it some more and give you an update.
