I'm mounting one up right now, a couple additional comments on mounting this setup: If you've relocated your starter switch, you'll need to put it back in the OEM location, as the after-market relocation bracket will interfere with this setup. Also, you'll need to remove your stock turn signals up front, they too will get in the way of the supermount + motominded XL80 mount setup; go with the Taco Moto Co wrap turn signals, they are better anyway.

I've got the Moto minded on the 500 and its the best there is unless you go DAKAR style. Have one in the drawer for the 300 but haven't put it on yet. Great review.

Excellent info, thanks! I just learned and the fork turn signals. I'm trying to upgrade the lighting system for my Alta EXR using a KTM mask. Just can't seem to find any data on the wattage of the lights. I'm limited to a 35W system so I can't get the pro, but I'm sure the sport will be a huge improvement from the stock light i have with LED bulb.

Hey, not sure if you look at these older videos anymore, but, I was wondering if you had any suggestions or thoughts about getting something like this (or this) onto a 890 adv. I picked up a Rally tower & while i love it, It's too heavy. I know that Radegarage sells a tower thats just about 500grams but that's not including brackets and i assume the lights themselves it's also carbon fiber - so if i break any of it , it'll cost some money to fix. I've seen a few people put a excf light housing on their 890 but haven't replied on how they did it nor have a video on it.

Looks awesome! I can't wait to order mine. Are you planning on making the indicator function or just leaving it out so all four flashers don't flash together? I was thinking about just adding two separate indicators but also think its probably pointless to even have the one.

I had to ditch the Baja light in favor of Mayak (Russian product). $100 cheaper and 2lbs lighter. Does have some shortcomings but worth keeping for me.

so, just like the moto minded light, one can also set the friction of the adjustment screw on the baja designs mask so that it provides the so called "killer app". sounds like perhaps, you're reaching reasons to sell the moto minded mask. i prefer the baja design mask because it keeps crap from getting into the light housing.

If they are, I haven't been able to find it, still looking. Seems like you might have to pay to get the best here or settle for the Acerbis heavy option that is half as bright as the expensive $400-500 ones yet still twice or 3 times as bright as stock.
