I have the same one built up and I like it a lot. It had issues with fuel pump, charging battery and cooling all fixed eventually.

I had the same 18 FX450, it was worthless until I did the 6th gear transmission, 1st is too high and 5th is too low. Balancing that out makes for a great desert bike. Baja designs are the cleanest lights for these setups!

Hey TMC thanks for makin this video! I am running a 2022 FE501S. Do you know if the electrical outupt on the larger motor would be able to generate enough juice to run the headlights consistently? I am building a lightweight adventure bike out of it and headlights are a big upgrade that I am looking. If the output is the same, is there an aftermarket stator I can run to increase my output?

Any technical information about the output from idle to maximum rpm. When does it spit out 196w? If i do hard enduro, slow speed stuff. How much can i pull without discharging the battery?

Sounds like a great light setup. Had to stop watching after about 5 minutes. Constant walking in circles with the in/out of each step made me motion sick, lol. 🤢
