In this video we introduce you to our MOTO NOSTRA front luggage rack for the Vespa GTS HPE models.
Our Vespa GTS luggage rack for the front offers you two big advantages:
1. mounting without drilling = reversible
2. 90° support surface = headlight is not covered
Easy mounting without drilling or modifications.
The luggage carrier is simply attached to the leg shield with two brackets and fixed to the frame with an angle plate. In addition, the luggage carrier is supported by rubber buffers on the frame and thus offers a very high level of safety.
When folded out, the carrier platform has a pleasantly flat angle. This means that even a larger piece of luggage can be transported without covering the headlight.

This is our new MOTO NOSTRA luggage rack for the Vespa GTS hpe from 2018.
Our luggage rack for the front has two big advantages compared to the known luggage racks:
1. it is really horizontal: the luggage does not fall down or stand totally crooked (& does not cover the headlight) and
2. you don't have to drill into the cascade to mount our carrier!
We offer the carrier in three colours: white, chrome and black (matt).
The delivery includes a stable holder and we will show you how to mount it here:
You need the following tools:
an open-end spanner, width 10, a ratchet with a Torx t25, a slotted screwdriver a file and the enclosed template.
Of course, the instructions are included with the luggage carrier or you can download them from the shop and print them out.
First remove the Piaggio emblem on the cascade with the slotted screwdriver. Behind it you will find a screw that you can loosen with a Torx 25. When you put the handlebars down, you can remove the cascade by pulling it upwards. At the bottom, you can now carefully unhook and remove the cascade by pulling it downwards and forwards (at the bottom of the cascade there are three fastening points that need to be loosened).
Use the slotted screwdriver to loosen and remove the upper cascade insert. Cut out the enclosed template and place it on the back, mark the free space on the cascade with a sharpie or similar.
You can remove the template afterwards, now you only need to sand the marked area away with a Dremel or a file.
This is how it should look after sanding. Now you can fix the bracket to the frame with the long screw and the washer.
Now attach the cascade by inserting the holders through the top opening.
Press the cascade lightly at the bottom to fix it and hook it into place at the top.
This is how the cascade looks with the holders in place. Of course, the whole thing can also be converted back: if you fit the top insert, you won't see any more of the filing!
TIP: we also have the inserts separately, so that you can also file an insert for yourself!
Now position the luggage carrier and fix it to the holder with the screw. Finally, tighten the cascade at the top and clip in the Piaggio emblem - that's it!

Definitic besser gelöst, als beim Originalen, bei dem man 2 Löcher in die Kaskase bohren muss, so kann man ihn auch temporär montieren, ohne das man diese hässlichen Löcher hat wenn er abgebaut ist.
