I remember when the back flip was first done in 2001 how much it changed the sport. 15 years after Pastrana first landed the double flip, people are now pulling them out like it's nothing. At one point riders deemed the double too dangerous to even attempt, at one point Travis even swearing he'd never do it again. This sport never ceases to amaze me.

Why Sheehan's no hander double back flip is so underrated? He done it perfectly and deserves a medal! And Taka's first trick was amazing!

From a loyal fan and amateur rider's perspective, all these athletes make these tricks look way too easy. That's why they're the Pro's. People say double backflips are boring... i've never flipped a bike upsidown on purpose, but if you still believe they are boring, then get off the couch and go try it. The sport of FMX is still alive and thriving. Great event. Thanks X Games!

Devin Clifton its not about difficultly. It should be about making you jump off your seat. Like that 86 score run that should have taken gold. I want to see tricks that can be held and tweaked. Not rushed.

Every time I see a double backflip now I yawn.. Like it doesn't impress me. But if I go back and watch Travis Pastrana land it in Moto X Freestyle over a decade ago it's goosebumps every time.

So disapointed by this final. Two of the three best tricks were made on the freestyle final but they still got such great scores? And Jackson Strong doesn't go for a last jump? The only new trick is a frontflip no hand, I would have liked so much to see Tom throwing his 720!

I hadn’t watched the xgames since 2008ish it’s insane to see how far they have came all these tricks would have been insane then, I remember when Travis did the double backflip how big of a deal it was now it’s almost normal. Yea taka should have atlest got bronze. He had the most unique tricks. I know the double back is sick but the Cali roll seems on another level especially with a no hand lander. Judges definitely were biased towards the bigger names in Fmx.

In all fairness it’s not a new trick in competition. The no handed double flip is relatively new with huge difficulty and a no handed front flip is Insane. I do think it’s bs that there are multiple guys doing the same trick for best trick tho.

Then you have to watch the bmx dirt for example. These guys come up with new insane tricks every year. :D Or slopestyle mtb. Its obviously because on a bike you have much more control, so the tricks are getting more and more crazy. On a heavy motocross machine you are limited just by the law of physics. Its incredible how the tricks developed in the last couple of years, but there is a point were you just cant do more, despite you have a jump so high that sends you into the universe

what would be dope if ya'll did something similar to the wwe network & have an X-Games network, that features full replays of every X-GAMES summer & winter. could have them by full event & separated by sport such as all skateboarding in one section, all bmx in one section, fmx,etc. and not only that but u could also do original shows like bio on athletes, could have shows showing them preparing for x games on the road to x games etc. could have a section for sports science that i've seen yall do in couple of the x games and believe that an X-GAMES network would benefit everyone, the X-GAMES itself build more fan base, athletes benefit from the exposure, and the fans benefit from all the great content.

i mean like a on demand network that u have access to all the footage and watch anytime and could also do live shows like how some of the events air on like youtube facebook twitter could air live from the on demand network much like wwe network how u can access all of their events and stream live events as well. were as with a tv network like Fuel tv, they may air shows and stuff like that but its not an on demand network where u can watch whatever content u want whenever u want, u have to wait till they air them
