The days of gas powered equipment for homeowners is just about gone. Unless you're a commercial business or own land their is no reason to buy gas equipment anymore.

Sorry, I know it’s been a year but I felt I should answer.this is a tricky question so I’ll put it in worse case. I did my half acre yard and ran through three batteries. But I worked it because I use it on about 1/5 of the yard because I have rocky spaces with lots roots sticking out so it was to be expected. I could have done 1/4 acre yard and have one one 6ah. No issue.

@@moto1833 thanks. I picked one up. They finally came out here. Dethatcher worked great. The scarrifier pretty much just dethatched it again. Not horribly impressed with that part.
