Why don’t they use Simple Green on the oil spills?…Simple Green dissolves tar, oil residue, etc… I use it for engine bay cleaner. Simply spray it on and wait 20 minutes and rinse with plain water…all build up is gone down to the original finish. I was also a hot roofer for 45 years and realize that tar has oil in it…!

Supersport was 600cc. Now I'm a bit confused. How much do they have to down tune the Ducati it's a 1098? So does it only run like 60% power ? Or match the smallest cc bike I think 750cc? Thanks.

The Ducati is 955cc. All the bikes use the same ECU which is used to equalize the performance by limiting max throttle (maybe more - I don't know). Stock Suzukis have a cable throttle so they require a retrofit to throttle-by-wire The ECUs have extensive data logging to differentiate between bike performance and rider performance - you don't get penalized because you have an awesome rider.

@mfennell70 Oh OK thanks Suzuki being out of Moto GP I guess old technology. Thanks for letting me know. I also thought the Ducati was bigger. Great series I've always had 600cc up till now. I have a 08 848 no electronics. So this is interesting to me as I've never ridden anything with TC or ABS or Mapping.

They all use the same ECU. The V2 and GSXR750 are artificially limited.
