For the ultimate value/perf, I own a higly modified V4S corse (price paid:28K). Instead of buying the full akra for 7K, I buyed the arrows exhaust for 2K and a pair of Rotobox bullet carbon rims for 4K. I removed all stock mirror, Turn signal and legal stuff. Monocoque carbon subframe (2,5K) was added and 520 chain conversion (0,5K). The result? 230 crank hp on dyno and weight saving is 14kg. This translate in 160kg dry weight. The final result: power to weight = 1,43 for less than 38 000€, which mean close to superleggera perf for a down to earth price. Can you beat that price to power ratio ? 🙂 It's ton of fun to ride on legal road and a weapon at my local track !

But for any normal person, it's not worth that because you'd never be able to use the performance, wouldn't dare ride it incase you crashed it and there would be so many other cheaper bikes that would be at least as good at normal speeds. The wings don't only stop wheelies. Apparently, they aid high speed stability and grip and feel during braking and turn-in. Apparently.

Firstly I just want to say awesome video! As a owner of a V4, unless you were planning to do major track days with this new V4 superleggera I don’t think the value is there (just for the bike). The standard and the s model are so good it does not make sense to spend that kind of money on a “motorcycle“ (for which there such a small market for motorcycle enthusiast). However, I don’t know if you knew this, but Ducati says if you buy one of these bikes they will fly you out to Italy to do training with a professional Ducati rider and you get to ride a Ducati sbk bike.... I just had an accident with my Suzuki Gixxer, my right leg can't mobile side ways well now, not sure if I would go for motor cycle again

You'd have to compare the Ducati Desmocidichi RR with the Honda RCV213 (Not the superleggera).

For price and quality, they have to compete with the Triumph Rocket 3, and the BMW R 18

Wouldn't have the garage space for more than three bikes, so maybe I would go midway and keep the Change if I had the funds in the first place.
