* NOTICE**
Front battery powers the front hub only, rear battery powers the rear hub and the electronics to power unit on. So if you just use rear hub until battery is showing empty, you can swap batteries or use just select front hub to double your range.
How fast is the Q20 Pro? Unlocked I got a top speed of 37mph, and I GPS confirmed the speedometer, it is accurate.
This is my favorite budget E-Bike so far! Best budget e-Bike I've tested. Selectable front and rear or front OR rear hub is a great feature and with all the accessories it comes with stock you can not beat the price!
Today in Cheezy's garage I explain why the Q20 is only using one battery. Then take a beautiful scenic 50 mile ride on the Dutchess rail trail over the old poughkeepsie Railroad bridge (Hudson river walk) and back.
Race! Ridstar Q20 VS Magicycle Pro VS the Nakto 4Folding OX, I win of course! I also climb a huge hill on a powerline (camera was off). This bike is AMAZING! And my favorite so far.

Man, my knees hurt when I see people riding with such a low seat. How come Jeff didn't put her seat up like his? I had a Mulberry tree too, it was so huge, we used to climb up and jest hang out and eat the berries. The tree was in a Battlefield park. I bet the soldiers used to eat them too. Cool ride Vin Cheezle. Cool bike.

I did ask her if she wanted me to raise the seat when she was going to have to pedal but she's nervous not being able to touch the ground with both feet so she declined. I lost about 20 minutes of video because I said something I shut my GoPro off when we were waiting for Sonya and I forgot to turn it back on. The mulberry tree that we had when I was a kid was also huge that we would climb! Thanks 😁

So how can you ride using the front motor alone if it doesn't power up the display? How can you set the PA level? And yeah you can go a long way on 1040 Watt Hours if you're riding in PA 1 or 2 and pedaling. Especially on trails, which are usually pretty flat.

I like your reviews of this ebike, good stuff and thanks for the info about the batteries! I assumed they were blended and not one for front & the other for rear. oops I heard another guy talk about this and Im glad I didnt correct him as he is right. gee not such a great thing being separated like they are. oh well there are other benefits, but an old concept. I had assumed they were blended & 40 ah, better to know before I bought one.
@MotoCheez
@MotoCheez 21 күн бұрын
I didn't like the concept at first but I actually prefer it this way now because there's always a reserve battery and you can switch to front only if you want or switch the higher charged front battery to the rear spot..
@bellyacres7846
@bellyacres7846 21 күн бұрын
@@MotoCheez yeah I see that is "ok" Id prefer it was current tech and blended together - if you remove one battery or one dies you loose functions this way. it is good to know its this way. thank you :) you saved me and now, my quest continues.
@MotoCheez
@MotoCheez 21 күн бұрын
@bellyacres7846 you could always add a battery blender, they're cheap. BUT having one battery powering one hub will allow more amperage to each IMO

I'd rather have the batteries in parallel. Less stress and you get more available amps to play with.
@MotoCheez
@MotoCheez 3 ай бұрын
You can hook lithium cells in parallel but for some reason they don't recommend hooking lithium battery packs in parallel. But since these are the same identical battery packs I don't see why you couldn't. They do make a device that allows the two in parallel electronically but I'm not sure if it physically raises the amperage output or if it keeps alternating between the two batteries. I guess I could do some more research, it wood be good to know

That sure looks like a fun rail trail to ride on. We've been to some rail trails near me several years ago but they were nothing nice like this. They looked more like dirt roads setup like ATV trails because they were aimed at hiking and mountain bikes. I'm not much of a fan of hiking or mountain bikes so the trails were just meh at best. As for mulberry's we have a couple of bushes we planted in the yard ourselves. I like to call them caterpillar-berries when they're fully grown. Too bad you couldn't take your dual-motor stand-up scooter on that rail trail. :)

@Slane583
@Slane583 3 ай бұрын
@@MotoCheez I like off-road trails when I'm on an ATV or dirt bike. If it's a bicycle or walking it's a take-it or leave-it thing for me. I've hiked in the past but it was mostly with some friends or family who wanted to go. Other than that it's not an interest of mine. I wish we had nicely paved rail trails like these around here. I like the idea of being able to ride on a nicely paved road without the vehicle traffic. Going a few miles and popping out by small food stands for a break sounds nice. The scattered spots of history related to the rail road is is neat too. There's not many exciting attractions around here. You have to travel to somewhere else for that. :)

@@MotoCheez Yes, a mix of different roads would be nice. I agree with straight roads getting boring. When I take a trip to go shopping on my own I avoid the interstate as much as possible. Some of these bikes do come with regen breaking feature, it must cause more money in the controller to do this though. It does seem easier to push with a bike then pull because there's really no great point to attach to pull and it seems safer. I wonder if they make something

@MotoCheez he got a 50in and had to go 20miles to get it home I was impressed. I ask why he didn't call me I would of picked it up for him. He said he had a 30day warranty if anything happened to it he could get It replaced. A little crazy I dough they seen the way he was having to transport it. The little trailer is for a regular bike but he uses it on his ebike it attaches to the seat post you have to remove the seat and post to slide it in the attachment it best if it's a quick release seat post iv seen him hook it up one time it has two mountain bike tires on a axel but it's not really that big it reminds me of a bike side cart.💯👍✌️🤔

@MotoCheez ya I think that's why he does it I no not being able to drive does get to him sometimes but for not being able to he gets by pertty good. He faked his eye test for a long time before anyone new that he's blind in one eye he's go a good memory to remember the chart when he could see it with his other good eye then be able to repeat any line back even though he couldn't see it with his blind eye he had to basically memorize the chart using his only good eye in less the a minute then act like he was reading back when in reality he couldn't see it. They caught him but he was in high school by the time any one realized it. He's considered legally blind . I always thought it was strange we would shoot bb guns as kids and he's right handed but shot left handed with a scope I can do both but I'd ask why he shot like that he say it was more comfortable but he was lieing . He try to come back and say your mainly right handed but shoot a basketball like a lefty but I just sucked compared to him playing basketball 💯👍✌️😉🫡
