This bikes awesome love it and the better rims on it with the 110, if I get a 250f I'd probably go this route I'm 210lbs. But I still like the honda crf450r best I think. I'm honestly starting to really consider the new Beta 450rx 2025 model I'm sure it will be better than the 24 model especially the benny bloss replica beta 450rx I'm highly considering getting a Beta moto bike just for something different always had honda or Yamaha but would be cool to have a beta 450rx with a blue fmf on it look sick imo. We will see. Between a crf250r works edition, crf450r, or a Beta 450RX, or Yamaha yz450f. Highly considering the beta though.

I am about 15 lbs heavier than you, never rode a 250f up until a few months ago, now in my mid 50's I am very much considering a 250f.. Ive had some 350's but I just don't gel with the euro feel personally, I rode a gytr/vortex 2024 yz250f and I could not believe how fast that bike was, super fun and had no problem staying in the right power, I was shocked how good it was, this Honda looks sweet, I would love to hear how this CRF WE power is vs the gytr yz250f.. The KYB is hard to beat but ive had FC do some showa stuff over the years and they were really good. No doubt the works edition is much better deal over a stocker. The beta looks awesome, love the look, my buddy has a few new ones and he really likes them for offroad.. Not sure on mx.

Just the other day I rode a honda 250f with a full yoshimura system and it felt a lot slower than my kx250f. Does the Ecu on this works edition bike make up for this or is it still slower than the kx and the ktm?
@yukonjon59643 ай бұрын
short answer is no. the CRF250WE still does not make the same peak power as those bikes. long answer... the RMZ, CRF and YZF all peak out 1000 to 1500 RPM lower than the KX and Euro bikes. so if you mean peak RPM power than yes, the high RPM bikes are faster. but if you're pulling third out of a tight corner and loose momentum, the slower revving bikes will be faster at recovering lost speed out of the corner. that's partly why the slower revving bikes are actually faster for certain riders because it's easier to stay in the meat of the power.
@yukonjon59643 ай бұрын

Good test riders know how to look for the differences (subtle or extreme) and also know when there ISN’T any change. Every MXA test rider is carefully selected for that skill and truthful reporting. Accurate and unbiased testing is a MXA standard and that’s what makes the orange wrecking crew top tier. Ps- if you’ve ever tested two models back to back (like this video) you’d know the differences can be clearly felt. This is why shootouts and side by side comparisons (old vs new, stock vs works edition, etc/etc) are so important!😉
