I think both bikes should be on the same exact tire for this test. Simply changing from Perelli to Dunlop could affect lap times.

Rideability and smooth usable power is everything for 99% if buyers, the works edition is the clear winner and you get to enjoy the extra bling. The stock exhausts on motocross bikes tend to be pretty damn good and rarely NEED to be changed. That said the works is an amazing package out of the box.

Probably should've mentioned it in the video, but the Yosh that comes stock on this bike is actually an early version of the RS-12 that had to be ordered long in advance to come stock on this model, but they've actually come up with a new version of their CRF250 exhaust with a shorter header that's supposed to be stronger. We talk about it in the magazine article that's coming out on this bike

Put the 2.15 rim and 110 width rear tire on the stock bike and I bet lap times would be the same or extremely close. Engines same on the dyno and the suspension is stiffer and has better hold up on the stock bike so the stock version may be able to be ridden faster. There are definitely variances, and dyno results aren't the end-all-be-all. A half-a-horsepower variance isn't much. What we get out of this is that the Works Edition is still a better bike, but it's not 2-3 horsepower stronger than stock like we wanted it to be
