Is it better to ride this not-as-fast-bike fast than the V4? To Jinno, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 makes more sense than the flagship V4. Is it a better bike for that reason? In some regards, yes. In this episode of Beyond the Ride, Jinno takes to the roads of Italy to tell you just how good this smaller Streetfighter is. Does it hold its own against its bigger brother? Did Jinno scoff at the baby Streetfighter? Find out on this episode of Beyond the Ride.

its interesting how we feel the need to justify or explain that a 178kg,150+ hp , 101 nm bike is not slow ... nice presentation

Beautiful bike but for the money im leaning towards a triumph speed triple..cruise control for the highway and a fuel gauge. The triumph is a beautiful bike but the ducati is better looking. My mind says triumph but the heart says ducati

This video should be commended for just the choice of music alone. No trippy electronica/rnb/whatever. Just good, old fashioned rock. And the review is great and informative as well. 👍I just don't agree at all that they should've gone for neo-retro looks. I have grown tired of new(er) bikes still looking like they were built 20 years ago. I, for one, am glad that Ducati have committed to make their current bikes really look current.

@mason lodge 434 the monster has a fuel gauge. But i would never change my SFV2 against a monster. With the SFV2 i know that i can go 220 km with several liters remainig in the tank.

How did you feel about the heat from the engine? Living here in the Philippines I’d like to use it as a daily commuter, but I ride to the gym in shorts often. I heard your comments on it in the video. Sadly they don’t have any demo units here in cebu city, so I’d love to hear your thoughts on it as a daily ride. Thank you! Love the channel ❤🎉

@enntense
@enntense 2 жыл бұрын
Hey just so you know, they have bad steering lock, so yeah parking lot and low speed are something you have to plan and pay attention to . Always keep in mind that tippy toe seat height converts to leg room once you are rolling, and that's a good thing. Unless your a contortionist and don't care. 😁😁

@clayman1980
@clayman1980 8 ай бұрын
I suppose you could establish some baseline by topping it up, riding it the way you want for 60 miles/100 kms and then topping it up again. That would give you an idea of how thirsty it is and you could adjust accordingly. You'd just need to make sure to reset the trip meter after every fill-up. My RSV4 does not have a fuel gauge either, but I have regularly poured about 8 liters after a 100km ride so that's my baseline.

Know what's terribly sad?.Many people may be new to Ducati, and to this bike, but this bike has already existed. It was a 2011 1098 Streetfighter S. The sad part is, It made more power, more torque and weighed less in 2011. It IS a fantastic bike. But it's not new.

It’s new enntense .. Yea the model name SF in duc. line up Already exist way back 2009.. with the 1098 & 848 ver. If u didn’t know 1098 Sf had testastretta 11 “Superbike Engine” & this new 2022 Sf V2 had the Superquadro engine they’re different.. this sf v2 is a “middle weight” it’s like a 848 ver. But more efficient & more power unlike 848 also equip with same tech from big brother V4 SF…

For the price, it’s hard to justify a mid-level naked when the Tuono and MT-09 way cheaper and comparable in performance.

But those are second tier bikes and they boring to look at though. Ducati always have one step above Yamaha or Aprilia design
@jd3330
@jd3330 2 жыл бұрын
@@DannyLe808 Design is subjective but looking at an overall package, the Ducati cannot compete. If we look at what sells, that SFV2 is losing. But you are absolutely right. There is no naked bike out there (to me) that is better looking than the Streetfighter. Especially the V4 with those winglets? Nothing. I just wish it was closer in price to competitors. That being said, I need a SFV2 lol.
