Ok, so I bought one about three weeks ago. I've put about 1000kms on the bike. Nothing has gone wrong with it, after the first 800km service the fuel economy went up. Pros: - Power is good enough, still using restraint as per break in procedure. - fuel economy on the highway is good, you will get 400kms per tank. City range is about 250km to a tank. - brakes are good, steel braided lines come standard too. - cruises well, 100km/h in 6th gear at about 4,000rpm. - I can vouch for the 0-100 of 5 seconds if you know how to launch it. - induction, twin throttle bodies are a nice touch. - good EFI and ECU, far more reliable than the previous modles using Ducati ECUs. - USB and 12v charging ports are great for long trips. Cons: - heavy, 236kg and you'll feel that in slow movements. Beginners may find it a handful. - feels flat to 4,500rpm then the power picks up. - panniers, Shad they may be, but you'll want to take them off unless you really need them. Nice they come as standard. - clutch and gearbox are a little less refined than their japanese counterparts. - engine is a little rough. Tried and proven yes, but further refinement is needed. - lacks creature comforts like cruise control and self cancelling indicators. - even with my 650GT, no slipper clutch. All in all though, really great bike and I'm glad I bought it. Hard to find anything else in this class, at this price, with these features.

Very nice comparison. So nice that it made me subscribe to the channel. As for the bikes, for the little bit extra money, the 650 is the way to go.

I think, their naked NK400 is the perfect middle ground. I really liked it since I first saw it.

this is just basically a sports ATV NK400, and I love that. that style will come in handy in track compared to being on a naked bike.

Hopefully the engine of the 650 will be tweak for better output, a 70-75 hp should be a sweet spot.

They stay on until you ride 5km/h as a test the ECU does. Then it turns off.

Made in china yes, but since 2019 CFMoto have been partnered with and making bikes globally for KTM. This bike is Kiska designed thanks to that. On top of that, it has KYB shocks front a rear with the rear being adjustable. The engine is actually a kawasaki unit and has a few improvements like forged pistons and crank, silicone carbide cylinders and twin throttle bodies. The latest version also has Bosch EFI and ECU, J Juan brakes, continental ABS, sports and touring modes. Very very few reported failure globally, almost zero in fact and yes, I own this bike. The 650GT. In black. Which looks sh*t hot 🔥
