It just goes to show that you don't need an adventure bike to have some adventures. I'm keeping my KTM however...you can carry LOTS more stuff and still go offroad... let me know if you'd like some Northern (middle) California destinations, and keep the adventures coming!

Saw you at Deus Ex in Venice Beach a few days ago. Thought of coming up to say hello, but got a little shy; my wife and I both ride Scramblers and your videos have been inspiring. If you're ever in the Central Coast region of California, look us up and we'll take you on some rides that will blow your mind. We know an OG rider who has property up in the mountains behind Big Sur (that requires riding 9 miles up a KNARLY dirt road) who you would LOVE to talk to. He even has an old gold mine his grandfather used to prospect out of. He rides an old, beat up Vstrom and has a Honda RC1 that he cruises Highway 1 on. The views from his property out over the Big Sur coast are unparalleled.

Have been watching your videos for a few years now, finally got around to subscribing! And now binging your videos when I should be doing more important things =) If you haven't been out that way before, you might want to check out the food at The Place in Ventucopa, and The Buckhorn in New Cuyama. As good as their burgers are, it's the journey on Highway 33 that makes them extra tasty. Some great dual-sport roads around there as well. Cheers mate! And keep the brilliant videos coming!
