I've wondered about the samethimg all season long. I really thought that he would be in Rossi's spot this year. Rossi is my all time favorite rider, but ever he should see thst this is the kid to step aside for. Didn't think I'd ever hear those words, out of my mouth that is. Fabio Quartararo was the first person in 2019 to be able to overtake Marc Marquez.(I think) Unfortunately Yamaha lost the acceleration and top speed compared to Honda. Hopefully Quartararo can lock his world title in the 2020 season

@@hansfourth My reply said the answer. Yamaha has the same problem it had in 2013 and before. Yamaha has not developed a solution to better their position on the straights. Yamaha has been riding upon the back of one of their riders popularity, not superior performance. Honda has same problem as well, does not turn in, must brake late, must steer with rear end of machine. Yamaha has talent on a high corner speed machine with poor corner exit acceleration. Honda is reverse thereof and wins the straights. MM93 wins races because he is an insane alien. Yamaha needs engine redesign, Honda chassis redesign, Ducati too. Suzuki needs just a hair more power and braking stability. But all of this is just racing ! I do laugh at Yamaha's juvenile stubbornness and blame game, for losing. Want to win... go all in. Ditch the old guy, and listen to the new guys. Build a machine for the 2020s, not the 1990's.
