Hayden being taken out by Pedrosa always gets credited in the 2006 title battle, but no one ever mentions Martin being taken out by Marc at Portimão last year. The 20-30 points lost there would have been so significant coming into the final rounds

Although I have rooted for Bagnaia for the past three years, I cannot help but feel Martin is more deserving of the title this year. He was consistent, made fewer mistakes, and should earn the championship on merit. And I hope Aprrillia presents him with a competitive bike next year. I'll be curious to see how the Bagnaia/Marquez pair handles next year, and will be disappointed if MM beats PB very badly, for we all deserve great racinng.

Slow motion footage shows there was no kick. You can even see it in this video that marquez ran intentionally into Rossi. Rossi's foot got caught on mm's bike, and mm panicked and hit the front brake. mm crashed because the front wheel locked. You'd have to be an idiot to believe that a kick can make the front wheel lock up. You'd also have to be an idiot to believe that Rossi can violate Newton's 3rd law and not experience a counter force on himself and his bike. If Rossi kicked, he and his bike would have moved as well.

Depends on what Martin wants. If he wins the title on Saturday and he wants to put 1 on his bike, then Pecco should be back on his 63 number. Otherwise, stay put. I forgot. Did Casey Stoner use his number 1 at Sepang after winning the title at Philips Island? That can be the example too

Part of the 2015 story the video doesn't say: At the last race with Rossi fighting back from the back of the grid (deservedly so after he pushed Marc off in Malaysia) and Lorenzo leading, Marc not only sat in second place although he clearly had better pace so that Lorenzo would get maximum points against Rossi, he even aggressively defended against a charging Pedrosa in 3rd place so he couldn't pass and potentially threaten Lorenzo's lead. Deliberately *not* racing a rival for a position you know you can take and even protecting them from another rider is the greatest affront to being a racer I have ever seen.

That kick was totally deserved (even though it cost Rossi the championship) Marquez was just being annoying and slowing Rossi down on purpose, we all know the story , what I didn't remember was that pretty much all the great riders (Lorenzo Rossi Marquez )won at least one championship right on the late race.. with Marquez al winning two of them on the last race, Rossi throwing away two championships at on last race ..
