Thanks! They are little bit scarry on first attempts but helps very much to trust your bike and relax your hands. The second rotation I think is best illustration to the concept- at the end of rotation I started to stare to the ground, panicked, grabbed handlebars and almost crashed. But my gues is I would finished rotation with no problems had I just let motorcycle to cary my ass further :). Have great fun and angle :).

@@KestasLi the bike will go where you look...something that a lot of people don't realize until it's too late.👊👍

Excellent slow speed skills. How long have you been practicing until you reached that level?
@KestasLi3 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks, I'm quite new rider, I got motorcycle licence end of 2019, so ~ 2 seasons on two wheels. My slow speed skills are quite mediocre, in motogymkhana there is something like "classes" (link), they are assigned based on the time you do standard GP8 figure. I float around "novice/amateur" level, so if you will watch more motogymkhana videos from other riders, you will see what is REALLY amazing low speed skills :). Excellent. 2nd gear ⚙️⚙️??
@KestasLi5 ай бұрын
Yes, one hand rotations are with 2nd gear, 1st gear idle was too slow for these. This video was taken some years ago, now I have an idle RPM cable installed, so there is no need to switch 2nd gear :).

Que velocidad o marcha utilizas para hacer estos ejercicios, saludos desde Ecuador.

Hey, some time passed since I studied spanish, but my guess is you asking what speed and gear is on this video :)? If I'm correct, then these circles around the cone are 2nd gear and I think ~20km/h on approach. When you start turning speed drops little bit, I don't open throttle or use brakes on this excercises. Then these other excercises are more "gymkhana" style with 1st gear. Not sure what speed is that, but I'm still quite slow on these :). Thanks for the greetings !🏍✌

What's the point of one handed circles?
@KestasLi3 жыл бұрын
Hey, this is basically to "cure" my tendency to grab/hold/restrict/squeeze handlebars- I think this is quite common for most beginner riders (not excluding myself :)). When the handlebars are held tightly, motorcycle behaves in all strange and crazy ways instead of following natural path. When doing this exercise I hold handlebars with one hand veeeeeeery lightly and try to control the turn with body position and look. These rotations you see on the video are captured after probably 50+ attempts. For example on first tries motorcycle would stand up straight after rotating ~90 degrees, I was not able to complete whole circle. But after some time messing around with the body position you start to figure out how to do full circle... So quite cool and fun experience :).
