2025 Triumph TF450 RC: Ricky Carmichael reveals all about the brand new 450 MX bike with his name on

Motocross GOAT Ricky Carmichael rides the new Triumph TF450RC and talks about the development of this brand new bike and what it's like to ride.
With the RC edition featuring mods like a holeshot device, Hinson clutch cover, ODI bars, different engine mounts and an RC-developed map, it's very close to the production machine.
And he's joined by the man behind the 250 and 450 project at Triumph, Ian Kimber, who discusses chassis development, suspension choice and has news on the racing programme for 2025 and beyond.

Will Triumph be working on a 350? Just not sure why other manufacturers haven't jumped on the 350.. so many more vet riders at the tracks now it just makes sense

I'm always wondering this as well. Every manufacturer could make a 350 without much effort. I think they should all make a 300 2- stroke, too.

Haha, yeah, no, for sure, this one is a must. The key, in my opinion, is to get a good start, put in your laps and, to your point, go inside-outside to set yourself up to be in the perfect position.

How many of the 250s blew this year during sx and the nationals? Think the 450s will be better?

Triumph as far as I know (never owned one - as far as road bikes) always looked good, and handled well, but broke down all the time and still do.

Price, that's the only true influence they will have in the market, if they manage to slow down the madness by making a decent bike at a good price people will but it. And another brand that keeps w the rtr nonsense, pleas for the love of good give us the option to buy the suspensions/brakes we want
