Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! In today's video, I'm opening up about one of the most intense experiences I've ever had - a dirtbike crash that left me with a broken shoulder. 😱💥
I've always been passionate about riding, but nothing prepared me for the moment when things took a sudden turn. The adrenaline was pumping, the wind rushing by, and then... bam! It happened so fast.
In this video, I'll take you through the whole ordeal - from the heart-stopping moment of impact to the aftermath and recovery process. It's not easy revisiting such a challenging time, but I hope sharing my story will serve as a reminder of the importance of safety and caution, even in the thrill-seeking world of extreme sports.
So, buckle up and join me on this rollercoaster ride of emotions and resilience. Don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe for more adrenaline-fueled adventures and life lessons. Thanks for watching, and remember to always ride safe out there! 🏍️💨
Stay tuned for the full story - it's one you won't want to miss!
The aim of this channel is to bring you guys along with my enduro riding fails and accomplishments highs and lows are always a big part of the journey.

Had the same repair 8 years ago. I've not worn mine out and I've crashed my dirtbikes and MTBs on it more than a sane, normal person would. IMHO - Don't switch bikes based on how you feel now. Within a year I was nearly at the point of forgetting I had my arm bone chopped off. Now, I'm running a Beta 390 and 200 Race editions. There are no stressors the bigger motor introduces the shoulder can't handle. PLEASE remember to keep up ALL your stretching exercises, that is where the final result comes from.

Hi Marsh! I’m happy for your shoulder replacement, big time! I work as an assistant nurse in the surgery room here in Sweden. I’ve been both assistant and scrub nurse assistant on many of same surgerys as that you’ve done. Cant believe why they didnt do this earlier if i may be honest. Never mind, now you got the good stuff in your shoulder, and i dont think you will have more pain, after the healing is done. Stick to the training your physioterapist suggested you to do… walking fingers up the wall and so on. I believe your motion range will be way better after this surgery, than the earlier two ones. I’m so happy for you, tho i dont know you 🙌🏼 Greets from Johan in Jönköping - Sweden 🤘🏼

Man i'm so happy to hear you are doing well after all these years it's finally kinda sorted! I can totally understand the rush of emotions living in pain for years is rough AF! Nothing nearly as tough as you but i had my gallbladder removed a week ago for 2 or 3 years i always had pain in my stomach i tried so many different diets and nothing worked now that it's gone i havn't had the usual pain all day just pain from the surgery and it broke me down a little too cause i finally feel like healthy and i got energy again... It's tough staying positive and keep doing things even things you love doing when you're in pain so for you to stick it out for like 18 +- years is amazing on it's own and says alot about your character! Hope to see you on the bike soon bud!

Sorry to hear mate hope you were ok! I’m new to this, been riding a year. Your post resonated. I’m constantly mentally balancing the risk side and I can’t square it away to be honest. I had a crash stupidly practicing hole shot starts of all things and it spooked me. I do worry I’ll knacker myself up such that it impacts work and my other stuff long term (I do filming and cinematography) but I enjoy it. I don’t know the answer, wish I did 😂. Sounds like you’ve made a good decision for you which is the main thing. My sister used to work as a horse groom for years and had a bad off at work and broke her back. She recovered fully and can walk thankfully but she jacked it in a few years after.

It is a risk reward sport but for me personally I think it's what sets it apart from the other sports, the highs are so high but with the territory comes the low lows but for me I'm just borderline obsessed and after an accident I go from "that's it, I'm done with it" then time ticks by and I start to recover and then my brain switches to "I can't wait to get back out riding"

Great to hear your n the road to recovery, I had a mcl injury and surgury last year. Went back to riding on a Beta 350 RE, ended up flipping it, the flaming and hard to start issues drove me crazy, BUT the biggest issue was the 4T it was just too physically demanding on a hard ride, it took soooo much energy out of me, Id last 1/2 a day and be done.!! I went back to a 2T, but this time not a 300, I got a 250, soooo much better, not as aggressive as the 300 and not as physically demanding on the old body. Good luck mate, hope to see you back on a bine soon 👍

@@Motomarsh Everyone had a blast on one, back in the day around the fields plus cheap as chips! Bloody expensive now - stick with the enduro bikes!! You’ll have to get into the gym for specific workouts (not the pub gym 🍻), maybe some cycling / mountain biking - similar movements for strength building! 😉

I’m nowhere close to your skill being a new rider but I’ve just swapped from a 150tpi to an FE250 and bloody hell really like it. It feels a “small amount” heavier than the 150, slightly. So it would probably feel same or actually lighter than a 300 I’m guessing? I don’t know. It feels light anyway. It’s amazing, doesn’t try to pull your arms off yet sure someone could be as quick on it as anyone else except on say open fire roads. It’ll rev high too. To me it’s kind of got the benefits of my 150 being nimble but it has got some decent low end unlike the 150 which has hardly any. I know I’m picking it up off the floor far less. Maybe try one? I know folk sniff at them being a 250 4t but worth a try. You could always have it whist you’re getting your arm muscles and tendons back conditioned then if you decide it’s not enough flog it and get something else. I guess recovering enough to ride at all is the first stage then the second stage is probably a year whilst your body adjusts and builds back with the new shoulder. Not a time to rush and a perfect time to have a bike that’s kind to you whilst getting you back going. The big stuff come come back after, you’ll thank yourself for not rushing. Sorry ramble over. Best with the recovery.
@Motomarsh

The 250f is definitely underrated for adults but I do find them quite flat but this is more to do with being 100kg kitted up. 😂 I don't blame the bike for feeling flat trying to pull my fat ass about 😂 150s are probably the most fun on the market but in reality we all like to have an easy life and the bigger cc seems to get you out of trouble easily. That's mostly the reason for riding big bikes like the 390 and 350. The downfall is picking them up 😂
@airindiana
@airindiana 3 ай бұрын
@@Motomarsh ha fair play 😄. Have to admit I’m now a bit of a 4 stroke convert. Massively, oh yeah the 150 they’re super fun even for me. I love my 150. I found you need to be a good rider to get up steep muddy hills on them though. It’ll do them but I found being crap I was struggling a lot and on the floor most of the time as you only have the one option which is screaming Jesus mode and clutch which I’m shit at 😂. It was purely the hills on it that caused me to switch. I actually want to stand a chance of getting round a lap 😂. I think once I get better ironically is the time I’d get the most from a 150 when I’ve more skill/confidence. I wish I could keep it as a second bike.

you'll find when the day comes to ride gently that the muscle memory shakes the muscles back into working correctly again. your physio will stall and be frustrating but when yo get to ride its all worth it. ive had my titanium in my shoulder for 10 years now, it hurts in the cold or if im under HV power lines for a while. generally im pain free and learning the ropes on the enduro bike. keep recovering, enjoy that holiday and let us know when your back at micks leading the rides again. as for what bike i think you on a xtrainer with suspension upgrades might be the ticket, softer power than normal 2t lighter and smaller. grip it an rip it
