I just want to clarify that the video was experimental. Changing the voltage from 60V to 70V, or vice versa, will not affect performance; the only difference is that the battery meter will be more accurate when set to 70V. Since the system is locked in the controller, there is no difference in speed between 60V and 70V. However, the mileage range per charge might be affected. Although the system is now locked to 70V, the increased power consumption could potentially reduce mileage compared to what I tested before the upgrade. The new mileage after the upgrade has not yet been confirmed by me. Fact: Use code DAD at checkout to save 5%! Visit www.goatpowerbikes.com/dad

What you set it at...should not matter for performance or range....because...."it is what it is." The controller and battery "is what it is." 17s battery is a 70.4+/- volt battery and controller is 50 amp.... YES..Bryson told me..if u want accurate display and no codes...change wiring harness with new controller. Great job demonstrating nothing changes
@erides4 ай бұрын
Yes, the controller has the voltage locked, so charging will not do anything other than the battery procentage will decrease more accurate with 70v. Set. I think the distance I got on 60v older controller should be little better as less torque and power was before.

You must need the new controller to update with App....I have app and March controller.....it will not update display

Ive hade mine a month it must've been updated.. anyways over 100miles no codes.. just cant get the wobble out the rear tire rim seems fine deflated inflated with soapy water.. no luck i did notice on the front i can see a rippled reveal but rear tire doesn't have ripple🤷😐

check the rim if not bent
@maineiacial4 ай бұрын
make sure the bead or your rim is seated. if you see a bulge in the tire you need to lower the pressure and reseat the tire then inflate it. the wobble will disappear

@@shenanigan3083 make sure the bead(the ridge on the tire) is even around the rim and theres no space between the tire and the rim. make sure when the wheel spins the width if the tire is even. if it isnt you will get a bubbke that looks like a snake who has just eaten

Absolutely insane that you state in your video to go against manufacturers recommendations because that’s what you feel is best with absolutely no data or facts to back up your claim.
@erides4 ай бұрын
yes, I feel this way and you just messed up your battery after 5 mile ride that something does not happened often from nothing. I compared to past data to current data and see more issues with 70v.

@@eridescalling you out for blatant misinformation is being a D? What an asinine statement, instead of correcting your mistake you’re gonna double down? Wild decision
@erides4 ай бұрын
@wowjason62606 There is no misinformation in this video. It's your assumption. I did experiment and show how it rides in both modes. The range difference can be effected from my 1st range test as more power used now with 70v system as more torque and speed . Also, people already posted a range test a few miles less. Also, Bryson confirmed yesterday that I should not see much difference other than voltage meter is more accurate 70v, which is highlighted in this video.
