i have a 1999 vw lupo 1.4 16v and i have some plans for it, going to completely strip the interior, get the 1.6 16v 125hp out of a polo 6n2 gti, put it on some itbs, nice set of cams, ported head and all that jazz, probably be around 220hp and rev to around 8500-9000rpm and it only weighs 870kg with the full interior so it should be about 750kg when its done, not looking to be the fastest thing on the road, its going to be a road rally car, so it'll be lifted a little with some stiff anti roll bars, wanting to do some sort of suspension conversion on the rear also so it has fully independent suspension all around, itll be a while before ill get it to that point because atm its my only car and money is tight, so ill be waiting till i turn 25, get something like a mk3 golf or a vw corrado as my daily and take my time getting the lupo how i want it

400+hp in a Tin Can😮 Looks well built but definitely something you want to have a Crash in😅 My Cousin had a R5 GT Turbo back in the Day, and that had the Boost Turned upto 10 and that is still the only car i thought I could crash in a Straight line!! You literally had to counter steer as soon as you put your foot down as it would literally throw you in the bush in a blink of an eye😅 But this with Double the Power must be Mental to Drive!!

Leave original on mate, pvc delete only makes more pressure in the engine weakening seals etc don’t do it really bad long term.

Mine is 270hp and I’ve spent £5200 so far including the car. Including breaks, suspension and tyres so not all money spent on power increase. Forge the engine, new clutch and gearbox (roughly 6k) and it’s ready for over 400hp
