Yeh, was a fun week at home watching DVD's, relaxing and peaceful, funny thing is it has rained every day since then.. It's strange how you always want a week to stay at home, But when your stuck at home for a week without being able to go out you wish you appreciate work more....

Hi Robin, Glad you're OK mate. I once had a similar thing happen to me on a push bike with a drop kerb. I see you took shelter by a traffic island next to a church saying "Jesus is Lord." It then looked like you were on "King's Road." You might have had some divine intervention. I'm surprised no came to see if you were OK.

Was that the day a week or so ago when the sky turned pitch black in the morning and poured? Hate tram tracks.... your videos got good sound, all I get on mine is the wind noise lol

Damn! Good to hear at least you're ok, could've been worse with all those people following too close in HK.

yes was last week, skies suddenly got dark even though it was only 4pm, extreme rain and wind till about 7pm. I was out from work on a break, the road had 1-2cm of ewateron it in 10 mis......and then the lightning erupted, was a great show, i should of been paying more attention to the road surface ;-)

hope you're ok. well, half dark rainy days are not the best to check cams. but I think it looks ok for that conditions. and I see no problems with the editing program at all.

thx, im happy with the video quality at 720, dosnt seem much different to HD. I have a few close calls i've been waiting top upload, i'll have to do them this week.... i wish the basic windows editing program could allow simple editing like fading 2 clips together etc...... This "Windows live movie maker" seems almost too basic....

I've never had a motorcycle or scooter but have been thinking about getting one. What was the mistake here that caused this spill? It seemed so random and out of nowhere -- kinda adds to my fear of getting a motorbike, especially since I've never even ridden one in nearly 40 years of my existence.

yeh the bus behind me was almost in reach as i slid down the road backwards at 40kmph on a layer of water.... i looked at his lights and thought...."oh shit this aint good", honestly thats the exact words that i said to myself.... it was the water that caused the slip, but it was the water that saved me alot of skin by allowing me to slide..

hey Robin, what make of bike are you riding?

Firstly: I'm glad you are okay. Secondly: Where have you been mate, it's been a couple of years ? I'm guessing you heard about Steve. I thought about messaging you about it but couldn't find the words.

I started a new job Jan 2012, and so was off YT for a couple of months, i did send Steve a few messages but he never replied, now i know why ;-( Only this week i found out about him cause of your note to me..... The last time i talked to him he was new in the US, swimming with his new boots and loving life, a fresh start, i never of thought his new adventure to the states would turn out so sad. Im at work right now and starting to tear up, i'll have to PM you later...

Any comments on the upload? Is my first upload in years and im not sure about the quality/size etc.... I only have "windows movie maker live" to edit it, and that sucks, recommendations? Its filmed at 1028x720 on a "Interphone MontionCam", made in italy. Camera was mounted on the fairing of the bike, and it seemed to vibrate a little, I tried it on my helmet and it didnt vibrate but i dont like the camera being so noticable so i reattached it on the fairing of the Tmax..

Yeh, the people on the pavement just stood and watched, i guess they didnt want to come out into the rain to help, in HK people fear the rain like the devil himself...

Ohh fuck.. thats just bad,,,bro.. We normally avoid TRAM tracks, Road Joints (movement gap for bridges/extended pavement) since they have a big gap with rubber and metal underneath...coz the wheels of your bike goes inline with the gap thus making bike wiggle and inevitably booom..you kiss the tarmac... Anyways good to hear yur ok man and good u got some gear.. lucky coz ur spending only 5,000hkd for it.. it can be a lot worst..:-) Cheers.

Cam was mounted on the left front fairing, im a little upset because until a week before the cam was mounted on my helmet. Helmet View is MUCH better, but i dont like people seeing im wearing a camera, im a bit self concious that way.... Is a shame because the accident in my Helmet's View was really good :-( To rub it in.... my rear cam battery died about an hour before my accident.... bloody typical.... 1000's of hrs of useless footage, then the 30secs i REALLY want, cam went AWOL..ahhhh
