Thanks for sharing your passions' of riding and enjoying the scenery. Absolutely beautiful. I live in Cincinnati and have not seen the top of pikes peak since I was a teen ager. Also like you both, I also enjoy riding a motorcycle; the GL1500 and the Honda St1100. I been also checking out the adventure motorcycles, just to give me some options. Looking forward to see your next video.

I saw your earlier vid to Alaska and asked if you guys still had your Tenere’s. Looks like you do. I was up in your area this last May with my wife on the Tenere. It is very pretty up there. It was cold and wet when we got up in to Washington state but we enjoyed the ride. Because we caught some very cold weather (low 40’s) we decided to for go Vancouver (still wish we had of done it). The wife says got to save something for next time. If I could make a suggestion for a couple trips. Ride over to Glacier National Park and back through Banf. The other would be to Utah (Zion, Bryce Capital Reef) and then do the million dollar highway in Colorado. Try to go over to Silver Jack Lake near Ridgway Colorado in the fall. It is gorgeous. We used to live at 8400 feet up in the mountains in Manitou Springs not far from the south side of the Garden of the Gods.

Jim W. Thanks. We have done most of not all routes suggested. Banff and Montana are weekend rides for us. I would like to hear more about your Florida trip and the route you took. We have done east to west and north to south. We now want to ride diagonally thru US from Vancouver to Florida.

Not sure what route you are taking down but if Florida is the area that you are most interested in....We lived in Colorado up to about 6 months ago. We now live in Jacksonville FL. Suggested Route. It matters not which side you start with but I would recommend the coast. Not a lot to see in the core of the state as far as motorcycle riding. I recommend A1A down the coast. You will jump on and off hwy 1 since A1A runs the coast all the way down the the Atlantic. Cool views. It really gets more scenic once you get down toward Daytona Beach. Once you begin to get to Miami it is quite pretty and interesting. Be prepared to go slow on A1A when you get down towards West Palm Beach. Lots of traffics but the houses are really quite interesting to look at...Mansions. My word of advice....STAY AWAY FROM MIAMI AT RUSH HOUR TIMES....IT IS A NIGHTMARE. We made the mistake of hitting Miami at a little past 3 and it takes forever between lights and it is that way on the highways....just don’t do it. :-). You will go down through Homestead on Hwy 1 and then you hit Key Largo. Great ride. Worth the trip from Key Largo to Key West. I would suggest the west coast on the way back and make sure to hit the Sunshine Causeway bridge...really high and fun to go over. The coastal towns are fun, great places to eat...slow going though because of light and traffic. Be sure to see the emerald coast (Destin Florida) because the sands are white and the water is emerald green. We used to vacation there every year. I guess I would start from the West coast of Florida then end on the east coast. If you have the time and interest go to North Carolina and do the BlueRidge Parkway and Sky line drive. I plan to do that in a few months. It is beautiful. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks much. I am planning to ride through Utah, Colorado (again), Tennessee, NC (Deals gap, Blue Ridge pkwy, Tail of the Dragon) and ride down upto to FL Key West. Wanted to do this last year but some warned us about hurricanes and stuff. Will keep in touch. Cheers!

Blue ridge parkway is one of my favorite ride out east along with the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah Park is really beautiful. Dragon tail is a bit over rated. Try to hit the Cherohola Parkway. It is pretty but is a bit of back tracking if you did the Dragon Tail. Keep tabs on the heat in the Arkansas, Texas Tennessee. Last year it was close to 100 degrees in late May. Thats HOT in my books.
