Cissy's interactions with the horse shows that she knows how to. Seemed like a brief join-up towards the end. Loved it!

I grew up with horses, also trained a couple. But this was a horse that really was open for connection and also very respectful. Lovely horse ☺️

Interacting with nature is special most times, but when the horse meets & greets. Extra special.

Your channel is a hidden gem, but it wont be hidden for long. Prachtig gefilmd. The shot with the wild horse and the KTM says it all. Wat een avontuur. Southern Africa is so beautiful. Ik ben zelf een Nederlander met een KTM die jaren in Zuid Afrika woonde en er nog vaak kom om familie te bezoeken. Ik geniet van jullie prachtige avontuur. Keep it coming. Safe travels!

Wow what a special moment to see and spend time with the wild horses. I've learned a very valuable lesson when I went on that off road course, when one gets a strong sidewind, just push out your knee into the incoming wind, it will automatically lift your bike straight up. Try it the next time you ride in windy weather 😎
@thetravelingtortoises6 ай бұрын
Thanks, We will try that! Now we only need a solution with the GoPro on the helmet catching the wind, guess training our neck muscles is the only solution 🤣

From Luderitz you must go to Kolmans Koppe, about 20 km inland from Luderitz if I recall. Might need a permit as it is in the diamond area.
@thetravelingtortoises6 ай бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion, Kolmanskop is already on our to do list! Can’t go to luderitz and skip that 😁 but we are surprised by all the other unexpected things around luderitz, but we will show you that in the next episode Haha.

Fortunately we had a lot of luck that the forks happened there! It was on the tar road and we had lovely help in luderitz. You will see it in the next episode, but if it had to happen it did at the perfect time.

Can you please tell me who makes the gloves that Werner is wearing as I have been looking for something like them for years !! Great interaction with that horse and it looks like he was looking for a treat from you. Thanks for sharing !!!!
@thetravelingtortoises6 ай бұрын
Gloves are from Leatt 4.5 lite. Werner loves these as well as they are thin and breath. The horse didn’t seem to expect a treat, just being curios I think. We of didn’t give them any treats of course as they shouldn’t actually interact with people… but luckily he wasn’t pushy.
