Had to watch Since you have Croc's. Always the best for the camp sites, I prefer the explorer off road for camping though. solid toes and more cushion . Collapsible bucket= nice touch.

half of those items you can find right on most camping spots: example table, chairs, if you go to campsite usually there are some. If you go in the woods, then I use a lug, a big branch or whatever to sit on. Same goes for table, I use one of my pannier. Same goes for dishes, water or ice (beers) I buy and carry them in a pannier after I set up tent. Bike cover? if it's rainy and you want a dry seat, take it off with you in the tent. etc. etc. In my experience all those 1-2 pounds add up. The lighter the bike the better. You'd be surprised with what you can come up with to fill a need with surrounding stuff you find in a campsite

Does all that fit in the waterproof bag or do you use saddle bags too?
@EndoCloudz9 жыл бұрын

Ian thanks for sharing the tips, i'm in the process of tweaking my motorcycle camping gear. Taking similar stuff to you, (except the Bear repellent) thankfully here in UK

Ian, do you Camp or do you 'camp'? By which I mean do you go off the beaten path or just to the local caravan park/established camp site with shower block etc.? nvm, I heard "..in case I don't have a picnic table.." not really Camping. Loads of homeless people "camping" in my city..
@iangreenwood93288 жыл бұрын
+74KU my preference would be to wild camp, unfortunately in Canada we can only wild camp on certain potions of what is called Crown land (land owned by the gov't) and the nearest Crown land to me is about 10 hours away. So, when I camp in Canada I mainly stick to Provincial Parks as they are usually well kept and have a few facilities and in the States I tend to stick to State parks or motorcycle specific camp grounds, my farourite being Ironhorse Camp Ground in North Carolina.

***** isn't crown land held by the government for the people like here in Aus? Yeah I know the feeling of having to go for stupidly long rides to find somewhere I am "allowed" to camp

lease can you provide some more details on the colapsable table? Cheers
@iangreenwood93285 жыл бұрын
Hi - the collapsible table was something I picked up at a local dollar store for $3.00 - they don't appear to have them any more. There are some ultralight travel tables on Amazon though that pack down pretty small
