Right on man. Tarp, rope, hammock, tent pegs and two trees, done! I'm going to have to get this set up. Minus mosquitos.... Thanks.

My fist bike was a '99 883, same color, the first week I had it I ran 1400 miles. I had an engine guard but no highway pegs, on a long trip, highway pegs are a must. That 883 was a good little bike.

Late last yr i decided to get back into the wind again after 30+ yrs. Bought a 1999 1200c with a ding in the tank. I quickly bought a new tank and sent some stuff out for paint. 6 months of not hearing anything good from painter i went to get money back. Ended up trading for a 2006 883L. Been riding the crap out of it...

That bike reminds me of the late 1960’s tv series - Then Came Bronson. Watched it on KZbin a few years back.

Hey Andrew, almost forgot about that flood we had. But I haven’t been camping when it didn’t storm! A fun time for sure…ready for another one. Catch ya later, CC

Now I'm toying with the idea of a hammock instead of my tent. Tents pretty small though. Fun ride though 🤘🏼

I rode from Indianapolis to Pensacola (883)to check on my other bike build (1200 to 1250) progress. I only carry a tent ⛺️ tarp, air mattress, utensils 🍴 these days for trips. Maybe a pair of socks or underwear. Less gear = more happy 😂

Are the 883 reliable ??
@dirtbirdmoto2 жыл бұрын
Extremely. They are just about bullet proof, there is always routine maintenance but this thing has never let me down. I ride a lot. Did 400 miles this weekend alone and the bike always performs.
