Very nice scenery A.D.D and the KTM seems to be doing just fine. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

The KTM is getting a little long in the tooth but is still chugging along.

Nothing like some huge beautiful pines to cool you off! I'm jealous, looks like an absolute blast. We're taking the trailer out for our first trip this week. Good to see you again mi amigo! Hope all is well.

Nice video! I always like the destinations you choose. I’m headed to the White Mountains in about 10 days to ride the Coronado Trail. My plan is to ride a loop from Alpine to Morenci and back to Alpine. With the summer heat starting set in I am wimping out on riding from the valley. Instead I will put my dual sport in the back of the truck. Ride in the cab with the ac on high. The bike will only be ridden on my planned loop.
@azdesertdog

That sounds like a great loop. The Coronado is an awesome road. I think bringing your bike out on the truck will give you a better experience. Thanks for watching. Be safe.

Beautiful area! That look out was amazing, crazy how far the sound carries in valleys. The views near Crescent Lake are gorgeous. Sucks paying to camp but that looked like a nice site. Lake at the end was really nice to. Thanks for bringing us along

Good video and thanks for bringing us along. I was planning a trip up Hwy 191 aka devils hwy but it’s a long stretch in the heat to Morenci . I will wait till the fall. We camp at Luna Lake just outside of Alpine. I prefer campsites due to the bathrooms. I can disperse camp but I prefer toilets 🤣

I like the 191 ride. I ride it from Morenci up to Alpine. I think of it like our Tail of the Dragon.

Nice. I grew up in Superior. Wonderful area to explore, with the ride just east of town to Miami on US 60 never getting old. And SRC is great -- when there is no traffic. 😉

I have had a chance to ride some of the pavement around there too. 77, 177 and 188 are great roads.

Good luck with the summer heat! We're hitting high 90's in GJ. I'm the weirdo that loves it - I did my heat-training in Tucson : )
@azdesertdog

Ha heat training. I try to head north. It's getting out early and a nice cooling vest for the ride back that makes it possible. Hope all is well in Grand Junction.

Know what you mN bout being focussed on finding dirt adventures, me too, but recently, since last year's big road trip through QLD, have been rediscovering the idea of mixing road and dirt trips. Real nice camping trip mate, it's gwtting harder to find fee-free camping here now - apart from in the outback. And the prices are just stupid!

Thanks Captain. I'm hoping to get some more camping in. It's hard to steal a weekend away.

Beautiful ride. That’s a bit ridiculous charging for both bikes that take up the room of one small car. Looks like yall had a good time.

Troy really needs a better class of friends🤪. If you its usually easier to park at the pump🤔. Nice to see guys your age still able to do what yall like.

You drove right by my house and didn’t invite me !!! I see how you are… Just joking, but I do live in San Tan Valley so that’s the route I take when I go up north, I’ve been meaning to take my KTM up to big lake, but all my friends are lame and old . And my young friends are all broke and have little kids .I should just go by myself but my wife worries , I’m surprised your wife lets you go alone on all these trips.

Hey Gary. I usually ride alone. This time I had a buddy along. I use a PLB Garmin InReach. It has and SOS button that brings EMS incase of emergency. There is insurance to cover any rescue efforts. The best thing is my wife can follow me real time. She gets preprogrammed messages and I can text via satellite when there is no service. The other reason she accepts it is I was riding prior to our 39 year marriage.

Someday I really wanna start doing this. I just got some stuff to geth my qiad running again. I might re register it and insure it and go camping in the winter months. Of course I can't really go that far on my quad it would be a very uncomfortable ride I'll probably go somewhere to like Mount Lemmon or something close by by me
@azdesertdog
@azdesertdog 6 ай бұрын
Good to hear your getting the mighty TRX running again. I think it would be cool to camp off the quad. Camping stuff is pretty cheap at Walmart. I used to use a $30 kiddie tent to camp in. Mt Lemmon is supposed to have some nice dispersed Camping. Good to hear from you.

@@azdesertdog yeah I've actually actually got one of those little tents it's still brand new too got it years ago but never used it. but yeah been dealing with a bunch of stuff lately had a kid and had heart problems and all kinds of stuff lol.
