Looking to take my '79 KZ750 twin out camping this year. All of my friends that I convinced to get bikes don't ride anymore, so it looks like I'll be by my lonesome. I looked at these 440s before I got mine, I just happened across mine on Craigslist when I was 18. I love mine, I don't know that I could manage the smaller bike for how I use it normally, my legs are longer than they ought to be! You really had this thing loaded up!

That sounds awesome! Yes the 440 isn’t for very tall people but seems to have adequate power. I’m 5’11 and over 250 and it handles me and my gear ok. I would much prefer it be a 750 but that’s ok it’s pretty rare now in this condition. I have an 83 Goldwing I’ve been slowly working restoring it. It has a coolant leak at the radiator and I think the starter solenoid went out. Old bikes require a person to learn how to work on them which is what I’ve been doing. Thanks for watching!!

The motor could carry alot its 41 hp. Is brute force, compared to most twin cylinders.

I think my FIL would be very envious of that bike! His birthday is today and he said he wanted a vintage Kawasaki LOL! :) You still found a way to have coffee..that's all that matters LOL!

Yes those are buildings for the park here and they had one night light running. The ride home was cold and rainy. It took me several hours to warm back up. Thank you for watching 🙂

Hey Rick , enjoyed your video. Why did you change from the valkyrie , (I have a 1999) and which do you prefer?
@adventureswithrick80322 жыл бұрын
I sold my Valkyrie in 2004 when my first kid was on the way. I was working on buying a house and needed to clear some finances. The Valkyrie is my favorite bike I have owned. This little bike kind of fell into my lap so I restored it. I am working on restoring my 83 Goldwing too. I rode my Valkyrie through the smoky mountains! What a ride. Thanks so much for watching and follow along.
