This one’s on the rider… Always ride as if you don’t own the road. Too many times dirt riders ride, often left, at warp speed. More than once I’ve almost been taken out by such a rider… if I was in a truck they would have been in my grill just like this guy.

I'm glad it looks like the rider is okay and hope there's minimal damage. I like to run those kind of roads on 2 wheels and 4, but no matter how fun, I'm worried about being on the giving and/or receiving end of this, so I go slow.

Going too fast in the blind corner and staying in the wrong side of the road. Good thing is the truck driver is going nice and slow, imagine him going the speed of bike.

Looked almost too late for the rider to bail left into the weeds, especially on gravel! Close call, could have been a lot worse!

He has the driver to thank! If the truck had gone a bit faster this could have ended a lot different.

never good to see these accidents - omg - but "where you look is where you go", and he's looking at the truck not his safe side of the road ; the truck swerves to the right (cannot fault the truck driver) - the riders leg comes off the outside left peg the second he sees the truck? panic! imo keep your feet tucked-in bud if you want to keep them! he hits the back brake full? so it's "locked up" now = a step-out slide is the result, not effective at slowing, yet his front brake here was hardly used? (no visible fork dive). Taking the impact on the front and rear shocks probably saved his spine/neck. Blind corners, i try to visualize a RAM/truck looming at me in the middle of the road as i approach - when you see it, you are prepped. Useful as a training video...
