On my sidecar rig... I got an old fashion foot pump.... I've been entertaining the idea of one of these.... for my 650 Interceptor, in Ravishing Red !... it has Craven panniers.. so, a small unit like this works well. Food for thought..... this week... mid 40's.. I'll take my 500 out and abut. and Yes I your rotor and pads are suspect....." Brake Kleen " on the rotor.... replace the pads.... Thanks for the review... 😎

Weather's looking up here too so hoping to take mine out as well 😁 After giving the rotor a good scrub of course 😂

I need one of these! I recently got a pressure gauge as wasnt sure how accurate my bicycle pump ... I mean garage pump (🤫) gauge was so was nice to have a second validation - Also the gauge has been handy for just a quick pressure check. But a nice clear digital display like on the one you've reviewed is perfect.

I use a 'garage' pump sometimes too, always handy to have, and never needs charging, but I find the needle/reading is usually quite generous 😅. You could also use something like a Pencil Tire Pressure Gauge, probably find one in a local hardware shop 👍

Nice tidy little pump. Bit pricy tho. On dif note. Have u done any of irish photo point rally? U could do bit of ur history chat on some of the more interesting points.

Agreed, the price is quite steep. Haven't done any of the Irish photo point rally, actually! I'll give it a try and take a picture of Daisy around some of them, should make for some good videos, thanks for the suggestion! 😁

One of my pet hates is getting to the rear valve on my Enfield, how easy/hard was it to get that short pipe in there? Review would have had better credibility if you actually deflated both tyres and then inflated them from scratch. Would the battery last long enough to do this twice as per the manual? I am in the market for a pump and this does open option, thx for the vid!
@BulletWanderer
@BulletWanderer 8 ай бұрын
Same here really, it's such an awkward spot most of the time. Cos the pump above is so small, its easy to get it in on the valve. However, I've always carried one of these 90 Degree Valve Adapter's too, makes getting to the rear one much easier if needs be! www.thevisorshop.com/en/ie/Oxford-Valve-Adapter-90-Degree/m-18427.aspx? Something like that might be a cheaper option if you've already got a pump that works but just is awkward to get in there. True that about inflating the tyres from scratch, this weekend I'll give that a go and upload it as a Short here. Appreciate the feedback! Reviews aren't my strong suit, but I'd like to get better 😅 If/when i'm next reviewing something I might put up a video beforehand saying what it is and asking what people would like to know! Cheers JG!

I guess it’s always easier to say these things afterwards, I mean if I didn’t watch your vid I wouldn’t have known they claim it can inflate 7 bike tyres. However knowing that I’d like to know if it’s true. On my SA Enfield I carry a small foot-pump, even added some puncture sealant, must be working as I’ve never had a puncture. On my French enfield though, I have been chancing it, so this does look like a nifty bit of kit to carry.

Where is this available from in UK?
@BulletWanderer
@BulletWanderer 7 ай бұрын
At the moment, it only seems to be available directly from cycplus's website i'm afraid. If I remember right, it was about 2 weeks shipping to Ireland, so I'd imagine similar for the UK?

This is 102 quid, same cost as about 10 foot pumps, ok for a bicycle but not for a big bike tyre.

Sorry this test is a joke, you barely touched your tire and did not even reflect about the nonsense brochure values this chinese crap tells you. In fact this is a alibaba-like online sold toy compressor, that does inflate bicicle tires 1-4 depending on size, and may likely pump a single motorcycle tire (front) barely, struggling to fully inflate a big rear tire (not your skinny bullet tires) without overheating. Once that shot is out, you’re stranded. But you bought plastic, chemical waste that isn’t recycleable (battery). Get a work-out instead and use a good simple foot-pump, or mini bike-pump (high volume), or a decent mini-compressor on a 12V plug/battery (complaining about that on a naked bike is just bullocks). It works for pros in the desert and it works for you and it’ll cost you nothing, worst case 1/5 of the price of this short-term gadget, that won’t survive long. And you save a few bucks getting your leg or arm a bit exercised instead of buying a bicycle to do some sport or going into a studio.

Fair points Giancarlo, but I think you misunderstood me, I wasn't complaining about mini-compressors at all, in fact I said that the Bullet is pretty perfect for them! More so for bikes where the battery isn't as easily accessed, it could be a handy alternative. Foot pumps are good, and generally the less electronics the better I agree, but if you're going on tour an analogue foot pump might take up a lot of room in the pack, whereas this is a little cube that takes up very little room. As for the survivability of this, I'll be using it for the rest of the year so we'll see how it fairs, thus far it's been alright. I'm no expert, and I make no claims to be, sometimes I get stuff to review and I present it how I see it. 🤷‍♂ At the end of the day, to each their own. I wouldn't force anyone to buy this (or anything I review for that matter), and most people probably already have a method that works for them, but if this, or getting the idea from this video to buy a similar e-pump might help someone, that'd be great.

I had one of those foot pumps that my father gave me for pumping up the tires on my ole 3 speed "English Racer". A gold one with white trim made by Royal Enfield. I was quite young. And I was not thrilled by using that pump. I could not see how one of those pumps would be for taking along for a road trip on my bike today. Too bulky, and not at all convenient. I would prefer an electric pump that did not take up a lot of space in my saddle bags.
Broke my Royal Enfield Motorcycle, AGAIN!?
