What I don't get is how can anyone trust a cheap charger like this to not ruin the phone. I check a 100 times before using any charger for my phone. I would rather buy a holder without a charger.

Second method that is installation via the ignition is the best option. I've heard alot of stories where people charged the phones on parked bikes and batteries have been drained out. The safest bet it routing through the ignition 👍👍👍 Great video!

I have tried this method but it blew my charger on next day because of power fluctuation during engine start. just connect them directly with battery and you are good to go. and this worked for me.

But don't buy this... After a while that ball will slip and fall into your handle while riding.. it will restrict you from turning handle bars suddenly.. it will lead you to accident.. so try to buy holders which can be fix in handlebars with simple nut and bolts
